My draft thoughts:

Barnett - 1st rd
Sutton - 2nd rd
Kamara - 2nd rd (possible 1st, but doubt it)
Reeves Maybin - 5/6th rd
Malone - 5/6th rd
Dobbs - 6/7th rd

Random and JMO

Edit: So random, it wasn't even meant for this thread.
I could see any or all of the trio at the end of your list going higher than you have predicted depending on combine results and medical evals.

Yeah. That's my opinion before Combine. Top 3 I think are pretty solid where they are though.

Predictions on Barnett? 8-14 is my guess. Could go to the Panthers at 8 or Bengals in the Top 10. Doubt he falls as low as Detroit's 21st pick though. If he does, he is seriously underrated.

All speculation of course without knowing what kind of trades are on the table in the draft.

Ha ha y'all act like We don't do the same thing. I Remember seeing Plenty of "fly" rides when I was on the hill. Lewis, Henry, big John, they all had Branf new rides with big systems in them. Escalades, hummers, jags, It happens everywhere.

That's when we also gave out free tacos.

Glory days

I don't think
We could ever talk Peyton into a full time coaching job but. Wonder is we could give him a title like Helton and let him advise players on their future and recruit on campus.

He give kids advice on what to do when they're thinking of turning pro and he flys in for official visit weekends and hangs out a while. Would be a win for the university that's for sure. Have Helton and Manning back on the hill.

While visiting friends in Bama we drove past the athletic facility. While most schools athletes drive around on scooters, their lot was full of Chargers, Mustangs, BMW's, Benzes, and nice trucks. I've never seen anything like it.

The girl I was visiting said there's a dealer that's run by boosters, and they sell them the cars and do some paperwork saying the kids don't have to pay until they graduate and that it's 100% legal because of the paperwork. I wish the NCAA had some balls to go break that mess up

That's not true, it is an NCAA violation if the same deal is not offered to any student attending school. The dealer will not offer that payment program to a normal student.

Extremely hard to measure that. All deals are different when buying a car. It's all negotiable. Most schools require their compliance staffs to review car purchases and such. I bet Bama does that.

Player is rolling in a 2016 Bugatti Chiron at 219.00 a month.

NCAA: "What"!

Bama Dealer: "Clearly you will note the left front tire has a scuff mark".

Done deal.

TIFWIW

Regular joe.

Lots of factors.. but easy to say all the new rides you see in pics are not cheap whatsoever

That's for regular Joe... Now an athlete can have lots of avenues to score a ride. I don't think it hurts that Saban is part owner of a dealership.

I'm sure it's not just Bama doing these things. But they do stick out more than others it seems

The angle I am working is between housing/meals/ COA these players are drawing a check well over 1k a month from the university. And with the way meals are unlimited now for the players they aren't having to spend a lot of their meal money. It's not real hard to pay an interest only loan or lease on an expensive vehicle just from that.
