The Problem of Whiteness

This keeps getting better and better. Tell us the state of African knowledge outside of the Arab Empire?

I don't know what Arab Empire your are talking about? The Mali and Songhai empires were black. Just because they practiced Islam and wrote in Arabic doesn't change the fact the men writing the knowledge were black. There is no evidence non-Africans had anything to do with the Mali Empire.

And FYI Arab and non-black are not synonymous. There are many black Arabs both today and all the way back to the 7th century. Sudan is a black nation that is also an Arab nation.

And if you are determined for me to cite an Ancient African civilisation that isn't Ancient Egypt or associated with Islam, try Great Zimbabwe.

Sounds like a great course.

Would be great if it were a requirement for all students. Unfortunately I think only students already open to racial justice will take that course.

This type of course is actually more necessary for those hostile to the concept than those open to it.

I could get behind shiest like this if it were titled 'The Problems with Blackness and Whiteness'. Still far far too much caring about skin color going both ways.

You've still ignored everything I've asked you

How do you achieve racial equality? Why do you believe we currently don't have racial equality? And how does white supremacy hurt you?

We achieve racial equality by ending white supremacy.

We don't have racial equality because there is a system of white supremacy dominating the world subjugating all non-white people.

White supremacy hurts me because it jeopardizes my safety and well-being.

What do you consider white supremacy and how does one end it?

lol first define white supremacy then tell me how it jeopardizes your safety and well being.

White supremacy = the belief white people are supposed to rule the world because they are intrinsically more intelligent and moral than other races (especially black people).

As a black person I can be killed by the soldiers of white supremacy (commonly known as "the police") for no reason (see Terrance Crutcher, Philando Castille, Alton Sterling, Eric Garner, etc.).

Is Islam and the Arabic language indigenous to Africa? Or, to use your terminology, blacks?

Question: DO you believe all police officers are bad? If not which ones are good and which ones are bad?

True conservatives don't force their views on anyone because they believe in limited government. It's liberals who are arrogant enough to believe they are right about everything and therefor should force their will on the people.

As for your belief that black people were helped by welfare, you should really do some research. Here's a great place to start.

When you subsidize something you get more of it. When you subsidize poverty, you get more poverty. Welfare has destroyed black communities by making failure beneficial.

Abortion? What is the true conservative stance?

At first I wasn't interested in this thread, but then I saw D4H was in here.

I'm pretty sure that's what old white men said in...

1782
1825
1863
1900
1910
1920
1930
1940, 1950, 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000, and 2010.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that they will be saying that in 2036.

Hey! Get off my lawn

This stumped even me. Well, time to get drunk.

I think, maybe, it was a crass response to the original post that whites would be better off by being more like black culture--i.e. busting a sag... Not sure. All I can come up with.

I don't advise you attempt this riddle without the protective barrier of 750 ml of 101 proof ethanol.

The controversy centers around whether there is a baby or not. Silly to throw around loaded questions.

I think that was his point.

He was responding to the proposition that modern conservatives aren't for small gov't because they are against the "right" to abortion. I think he was pointing out that it was a more complex question than how it was framed, since a person can be for small gov't and also be against murder.

At least, that's how I interpreted the back and forth of it.

Point taken, and admonition appreciated.

I always knew you cared about me, whether you wanted to or admit it or not.
