This keeps getting better and better. Tell us the state of African knowledge outside of the Arab Empire?
I don't know what Arab Empire your are talking about? The Mali and Songhai empires were black. Just because they practiced Islam and wrote in Arabic doesn't change the fact the men writing the knowledge were black. There is no evidence non-Africans had anything to do with the Mali Empire.
And FYI Arab and non-black are not synonymous. There are many black Arabs both today and all the way back to the 7th century. Sudan is a black nation that is also an Arab nation.
And if you are determined for me to cite an Ancient African civilisation that isn't Ancient Egypt or associated with Islam, try Great Zimbabwe.
