Will there be any new Assistants?

Since changes are going to be made, and no announcement as of now, coaches we are after are still with teams in the post season, bowls and/or NFL playoffs (soon)
That would be my guess.
This off season sure going to work on my patience.

Hey LWS I'm assuming since s&c has an open slot that it doesn't count, so you believe there is going to be 5 position coach changes or are you hearing that it's most likely?

I believe the assistant football coaching spots change over 4.5. I guess that is 5 or more

UK was a bowl team who who went 7-5 and beat a good Louisville team?

Our offense was 2nd in the SEC in Scoring and all those other teams played bad teams as well.

You are spitting in the wind, his posts are 100% filled with hate for Butch. Most of us know we underachieved this year but we also know this point in time we can't make a change and must hope he makes changes.

Some people must be negative, it's all they have...

I wouldn't fire coach Z yet. Malone/Jennings have both been playing like studs. Jennings had never played WR like that so Coach Z molded him pretty well I'd say.

If we did fire him I'd let Scott coach WR/TE'S and then grab a QB coach. Firing Mahoney is a no Brainer at this point.

Agreed. I was anti-Z previous years, but WR looked solid most of the year. Want to see how they do with a better passing QB before I would want to boot Z.

At times the offense did not look good. Problems with OL played a major part in that. Debord is not flashy but Tennessee finished second in the SEC on scoring. So He did a pretty fair job.

My problem with DeBord; passing on fourth down, and throwing to someone 5 yards behind the line to gain.

And if Butch called the play, so what? He has to have the guts to tell his friend he is screwing up. That is why he is wearing a head set.

435 points in 12 games in 2016 is our best offensive output in 20 years( Manning's junior year 1996- 437 points in 12 games). For those of you wanting DeBord gone, what more could he have done?
Not have his offense disappear for large amounts of the game, have two of your best and most complementary talents on the field at the same time, use the tight end to open running lanes for the most running talented backfield we've had in 15 years, run a slant.

Dang I couldn't even think of 5 unless Gillespie or Shripling??

Coach Z
Mahoney
Martinez
Thig

That's all I got??

I could see Mahoney and Martinez for sure, if Butch brings in a QB coach as Co-OC I could see CZA splitting on his own, there are rumors that Strip is contemplating retiring also maybe Debord?

I think we can all agree to give DeBord a pass on Bama.

I'll buy the other two. But sometimes, I'd imagine, things just don't clicking out there. Beyond anyones control. So, 2/12 isn't all that bad. Definitely not something to be canning someone for.

A pass against Bana? If he game planned maybe. All he did was quick hitch and expected the wrs to make big plays, he never tried anything else. Bama was all over it the whole time.

Oh, it was cause our o line. Dobbs no time etc
