I would consider myself as #3. I have said it before, I have no idea when the man sleeps and I think he is one of the hardest working coaches in FBS football.
Alot of things went wrong this season out of his control and some that he probably could control. I would say the variables that went wrong this year was 70% bad luck or bad decision by players and 30% coaching.

I want to see Shoop with his assistants.

I want to see a QB coach here.

I want to see a huge push and get our recruiting back up in the top 10.

I want to see how the offense evolves with JG at QB and a co OC if that route is taken.

I agree about Shoop, just have zero faith Butch makes the right moves.

Well i have no problem with fans voicing there opinions. But category 1 is on here hijacking each thread repeating the same chit over and over to the point that category 2, 3 and 4 can't even have a discussion.

It's just not in the football forum either. Now I'm having to read it in the NCAA forum and Pub forum. I think this is going way to far for it to spill over to any forum other than this one.

We can have different opinions without all the bashing and back stabbing of our own players and coaches.

Maybe we could spend more time making fun of all the lame teams that weren't able to beat such a weak gator team and how yellow Ole Butter Teeth's teeth are. What about that hire by Ga, when will they figure out the error of their ways? Did Louisville really lose to Ky? That's embarrassing and I don't give a rip about Louisville.

Too many quality subjects to discuss rather than bashing our own.

The goal was ALWAYS to get to Atlanta this year and you know it. Your ridiculous hyperbole isn't helping the case either.

Let me say your are one of the most negative people on this board.

It isn't hyperbole. Just common sense. As usual the negavol will cutoff posts that doesnt fit their agenda. Atlanta was our goal. Having 18 defensive players out in the SEC will make goals laugh at you as a team.

Take the fahr Butch glasses off and truley look at the whole picture.

I don't think this is "obviously his last year". There are many assistants out there that would jump at a chance to get their foot in the door in the SEC, especially at UT.

The roster will not be much, if any, weaker than this year, barring catastrophic injuries again. Defense will be improved, QB will be just as effective and the RB's will be improved if Kamara returns. Another big IF is Malone. His return would also be especially helpful.

We will especially improve at the LB and DB positions - they can not perform worse than they did this year. We have some very talented youngsters that showed a lot of promise at these positions.

I see an improved team from this year with a 9-3 or 10-2 record, chasing FL. for the East next year.:hi::hi:

I believe the attraction would be that he would be CO OC until DeBord retires. Which if Helfrich were to come it'd be next year.

If he had a chance to cover and didn't, I bet they would. Nah. They would hold their tongue. Winning is more important than covering the spread.

Got my ass burnt bad getting excited about Sunseri and Shoop. I'm waiting until the verdict is clearly in before I get excited about any assistant coach again.

I would have sworn it was catbone, but knew it wasn't because I could smell alcohol on them and knew they were atleast 21. :eek:lol:

Jones won't be here next year unless he pulls out a 9-10 win season without losing to the SCs and Vandys of the world.

Agree, Negavol doesn't have to mean you're gloom and doom all the time. It means you have passion for this program and you want to see domination and unacceptance of defeatist mindset.

I can see some of these butch suppoters watch us lose on tv to someone we were suppose to beat and say "welp, golly gee, we gave it the 'ol college try." Then they switch it over to watch a more exciting game.

They think that we hate Butch and the team. No, all we ask is for our coach to live up to expectations. Us "negavols" (who seem to be growing in number since Vandy) know the potential for Tennessee is much higher than what we have shown.

And then they blame the fans and say "we don't deserve good coaching because we are spoiled". Give me a break. We bring in more revenue than almost any other fan base with nothing to show for it.
