Wonder how bad the attendance slipped during their crap years? I'd be interested to know. To me that's the only way they'll ever change anything here. They don't listen to anything other than loss of revenue.

No. The 10-20 trolls who post here all the time and have trolled boards for the last 6-7 years. We all know who they are. They stir the pot even when there is no information to support their rants. They have been very successful in ignoring all the positives by dwelling on the few mistakes which have been made as well as creating and posting untruths with “rumors”. Unfortunately, many believe most of their crap.

There is a valuable piece that was missing the last 2 go rounds. And at least a couple of people (for obvious) reasons a lot less involved last time.

Googling Dooley is kinda ironic. I remember sitting close to the Cincinnati section during his time here and hearing their fans cuss Jones to no end during that game. Saved me a Google search when Dooley got canned and Jones was hired.

Best shot is Holgerson leaving WVU and Butch landing there. Coached there before so may be a good prospective landing spot.

Let him go. Oregon just fired Helfrich and Chip Kelly is going to be on the market. Go get Kelly as HC and let him bring Helfrich who was his OC at Oregon. Financially it would work since Purdue/Butch would have to pay for Butch's buy out. If they wanna do that, frees up $$$ to do this hire. This BOT needs to usurp this stupid chancellor search and get out in front of this situation by hiring Blackburn as AD now. If Butch is just angling for a raise, forget it. Any AD w/ balls tells him he just got one last year, lets see how the next two seasons go before we bring up that topic if you're still here.

What are you hearing Beecher? We need some good need in here. Are you referring to the AD search, potential future coaching search or both? Because if we don't hire a strong AD, I don't see how the latter will ever come true.
