Slow starts yes, but nobody ran on us like this until the injuries. What did app state do in the 2nd half? Florida? Ga? What did VT do after the first quarter? Nothing, that's what. Even aTm did most of their damage early and off of short fields due to turnovers on offense. Nobody was doing this to us until we got injured and that's a fact

Injuries were piling up by the A&M game too.

DT position is non-existent

41 has very little experience. That's a key spot in the defense

18 is a FR with little experience. Always scary having a FR safety

22 is inexperienced. Young

School has really good ends, 1 great LB and not much else imo. At least until 23 gets back in form

Why do we always have to be sad miserable and negative? If we win out we are clearly on an upward trajectory.

Pretty much every team loses a game each year it shouldn't. It's just hard to win them all. But we are stable and winning consistently.

5 reg season wins
6 reg season wins
8 reg season wins
9 reg season wins

In what world is that not clear progress. Reg season wins are not easy

Beating Georgia and Florida in the same year is not easy.

Now we have to finish at candy but assuming we do that. This is progress

Abernathy and McDowell have not played a lot of football

Lewis is not a DT so he is inexperienced at the position he was playing

Sutton is clearly not 100%

Vickers, Moseley and jumper simply aren't starter caliber on an upper echelon SEC defense

It also doesn't take all 11 players out of position to give up a big play. Just 1 LB or safety out of position can (and did) be disastrous

You completely missed the point. Would you be defending Shoop still? Not questioning whether you would be posting. It's a fair argument to say, "pass for the injuries this year, you can prove it next year." However, the same results will not be acceptable again per my view.
