Got the dub! Don't care what the score is. With all the injuries we've had I don't care about stats anymore. Have to root for FSU and Bama to kick florida's ass (I guess we all were hoping for that anyway) so that we can go to the sugar bowl!

I agree but injuries def kept us from knowing what could have been. I would have liked to have seen us at full strength vs Bama at full strength.

We have a reasonable shot at the sugar bowl. That is something to be proud of!!

I agree! What do we expect when the running back basically gets 5 yards handed to them because their is no resisitance from the tackle position?

So i mean there is definitely progress from last years 9-4 to this years potential 10-3/9-4 season.

We lost Hurd, PWill, DOB, Tuttle, KMac, JRM, Sutton, DKjr, half the OL, Kamara missed a few.

And we still end up with same or slightly better record.

Whether recruits choose see it that way or not remains to be seen...

I posted before the season that the only thing that could stop us would be a insane rash of injuries. It happened and it did. The curse is real. I have never seen anything like this. I mean it is obvious that even guys who have come back, are still hurting really bad. It is so disheartening. LSU had nothing to play for today, and it showed. But kudos to UF for taking advantage. Now enjoy getting beheaded by Bama.

We'd be playing in a NY6 game. If you aren't in the playoff, you can't ask for any more than that.

A NY6 game would be huge for this program moving forward. Not sure you can even argue otherwise.

It's a great sell. We have been consistently ranked and relevant two years in a row. One of the top three winningest sec teams in that stretch. Losses are easy to blame on injuries and not coaching (at least to rational people). Clearly can sell early playing time. I think winning out would set us up very nicely!

I think people forget how bad our conference has played this year. There's been no other top 15 team from the SEC since we've beat each other up. Benefit and curse of sec play. I can see how people can spin it both ways. These guys can sell anything and any edge they get for recruits they pound on it.

Why do we always have to be sad miserable and negative? If we win out we are clearly on an upward trajectory.

Pretty much every team loses a game each year it shouldn't. It's just hard to win them all. But we are stable and winning consistently.

I think we got to win it to be able to really sell recruits.

Concur! Comments like this are why catbone ended up on my ignore list two years ago. I suggest you ingnore him as well. These threads read a lot easier when you have him and bruin on ignore.
