Siap did you guys hear that voicemail for Hurd from the Memphis OC. I don't know if he's right about what he said about Butch and Debord, but if he isn't going pro, I hope Hurd goes there and breaks records and shows what he can do. I hate that he's leaving, but there's no denying his talent and no denying how hard he ran the last two years. This year he was off, but I want nothing but the best for him

Butch has to see all if the negative stories right now about him and the team. Losing Hurd looks really bad no matter how it is spun because most people arent getting the real info on VNThey see a player short of the rushing record just up and quit. Not to mention how poorly Butch managed all of this to begin with. It never should have spiraled to this point and the time to show him the door was during the bye week. We probably beat SC had Hurd not been the huge distraction he was for the team. Butch clearly showed favoritism to Hurd and the other players see that.
The Memphis coach said that they didn't welcome Hurd and followed that up with "we will commit to I-form
The I-form is an excuse, a very, very, tired one. A good RB can run in any formation. And Hurd, despite his size, has never been the power-back we've all made him out to be.
If Memphis want to run it then have at it but hardly anyone runs the I anymore -- not even BAMA.
Let's say UF loses to Arkansas and Lsu, Tennessee wins out winning all games by 14+. Would the excitement around here be back?
Would the SoCar loss be considered a Fluke?
