He said something similar in his Monday press conference. "It starts with me."
I honestly don't know what some people are looking for in these things. Are you hoping he goes up there and wallows in his guilt and inadequacies for 30 minutes?
He has to put on the front like nothing's wrong. We're in year 4 now. These are his players, this is his system. This is what he's selling to recruits. If he admits there are problems, opposing coaches will have relayed the quote to recruits before he finishes talking. So he spouts his cliches, because they can't be used against him in any meaningful way.
At this point we don't know what he's actually thinking with regards to scheme and coaching changes. And we won't until he gets rid of somebody. I kind of think that's how it should be.
Was not impressed with his insight when he was on 104.5 several years ago. Tends to throw things against a wall to see if it would stick. Did he give any context on why he didn't think CBJ would be here in 2 -3 years?
Do you need him to open up a vein or something? Maybe stage a crucifixion like they do in the Phillipines? He either fixes this or he doesn't. Grousing about him using words to take responsibility will definitely speed up the process.
Heard Chris Landry on Atlanta radio yesterday. He said its hard for him to see Butch at UT in 2-3 years. He also said as a scout, he would have a hard time recommending a team draft Hurd.
If Butch could stick a knife in his heart
Suicide right on the stage
Would it be enough for jave36's lust
Would it help to ease the pain? Ease your brain?
I just remember lots of people clamoring for him and afraid we'd lose him.
Fans make knee jerk reactions based on fear/nothing.
