From middle school to highschool he quit teams for not playing enough or not getting along. How do I know this you ask,one of his head highschool coach told me those issues Friday.

These motions started last week earlier

If he acts like a diva in the NFL they are gonna hurt him in trainin camp

Here's some TS in the FF.

"The team seemed pretty loose today from the few periods we were able to watch. It was very interesting, a lot of smiles out there today. Again, just a different feel around the practice today.

Lord. This is pandering x100. Same as them saying Kahlil McKenzie was unblockable preseason.

Why do people think Butch can just call of Hyams and be like, "hey Jimmy, I'm ticked off at this situation. Release that story about Jalen's momma you been holding for me. Thanks Jim, Pete's on me next time." I mean, what?

Well that may not be completely false seeing how our ol has played this year.

Butch just needed one big season and the program could have mostly stayed out of the crosshairs for a while. Even going 10-3 this year will do nothing to change the narrative. He had to win the East (which is still possible, but very unlikely).

He will remain "Botch Jones" for another 11 months minimum. It's sad. I like him and want him to succeed.

Any time I see that or Lyle used I know to immediately dismiss the poster. It tells me they're too immature to have an adult conversation about the coach or the program. I also have no respect for anyone who dogs their own team and gives ammunition to our rivals and competitors and contributes to a false narrative about our coach, program, and team. Things aren't perfect. They need to be fixed but stuff like that only adds to the narrative and makes our problems worse.

It's the same thing when I hear pool boy or whatever other childish nicknames people use for other coaches. It drives me crazy that there's so much immaturity associated with sports fandom. I love the sport and I love talking football and the state of our program but the childishness that goes on is absurd. It's why I mostly stay in the recruiting forum where we act more like grownups.

Just in case you guys haven't been over to the field lately posters are saying that both Barnett and Kongo threw hands with Hurd. Kongo was mad over Hurd disrespecting stripling and Barnett put his hat on straight for Hurd at some point. They are also referencing that Hurd was about to be suspended and the was some kind of situation with a band member..

Also in the same forum posters are saying butch and debored have set in a date in January for his departure and that the decision has already been made on 2 other coaches z and Mahoney

Wait. Where is this being posted?

Brooks and Niehaus had their stripes removed today

Most will miss this, but it is important for the future. Brooks is a huge, imposing human being. He was lagging behind everybody in fall camp. I think his conditioning was causing it, which is understandable after all of the knee issues in HS. As a TE that means stronger blocking and possession receiving. Niehaus beat K-Mac in fall camp in the circle of life once. All he needs is more muscle. He already understands leverage and is very quick footed, long armed, with a good, quiet mean streak. He knows what he is doing and don't care who he's doing it against. I like him as good or better than Tatum. FWIW, bow legged O-lineman have an advantage when it comes to a strong base. Niehaus has that.

Agreed. Calling him Botch Jones is the equivalent of always calling UF the "Gators."

Just let's you know you're dealing witha mouth-breather.

I didn't say they were good, just that they have looked better than I expected.

You are right. In typical VN fashion we have many posters who think opponents don't improve during the season while our guys always do, even when we don't. UF is getting better on O. Whether it is enough against LSU I have no idea. It is against Arky if they bring what they've been bringing.

Practice observations...

"The team seemed pretty loose today from the few periods we were able to watch. It was very interesting, a lot of smiles out there today. Again, just a different feel around the practice today.

Evan Berry and Malik Foreman were both in green jerseys today. Berry had a visor on his helmet. Micah Abernathy practiced and wasn't in a green jersey.

On the offensive line we saw Coleman Thomas work some at first team center while Dylan Wiesman moved over to right guard.

Alexis Johnson was back out on the practice field, too. It continues to look like Kyle Phillips is in line for his first start on the defensive line at defensive tackle."

😂😂 company man.

Yes yes I knew this would all be about blaming all the strife, misfortune, turnovers , bad game planning and lack of offensive creativity on one disgruntled player.

This is good offense. Florida sucks and benefits from opponents sucking more.

That only tells part of the story and you know it.If watched the whole game. Mac put that game on his D to win when they got the lead. The play calling was Debored like and they played field position the whole game. Why wouldn't they - Eason is erratic and the O-line made no room for Chubb. Look at 3rd and 4th down efficiency. Tells the story. Move the chains, protect the football type game.

I have always felt that the 2017 offense would be much better than this years. Based on line play and skill people being a better fit for system.
I expected 2016 defense to be superior to 2017, but injuries have decimated this years d.

Nope, I just see it referenced on there from time to time. I really wish I had been a member when Kiffin left in the middle of the night just to see the infamous "guys, it's true" thread from Brent. It must have been nuked because I have searched the archives and can't find it anywhere.

I was there for both bent Hobbs and "guys it's true" threads. Also the big hat thread. Three of the most infamous threads in VQ gq history.

What game aside from Kentucky has their offense looked good? I live here and trust me, their fans hate their offense.

SIAP, but Brice said the yesterday that Cam has been doing a lot of running and that there is a chance he goes vs. KY.

The game sucked on all levels. Unless you wanted to take a nap. Their offense looked inept against all their opponents except Kentucky and the first half against us.
