Isn't he under contract until after the 2017-18 season? Is UT going to pay the buyout... or is he going to retire?
I'd be interested to see where Debord said that myself. Pretty damning if true - and prior to the SC game, I was cool with Debord for the most part.
Were you on VQ when bent Hobbs made his debut?
practice observations...
"the team seemed pretty loose today from the few periods we were able to watch. It was very interesting, a lot of smiles out there today. Again, just a different feel around the practice today.
Evan berry and malik foreman were both in green jerseys today. Berry had a visor on his helmet. Micah abernathy practiced and wasn't in a green jersey.
On the offensive line we saw coleman thomas work some at first team center while dylan wiesman moved over to right guard.
Alexis johnson was back out on the practice field, too. It continues to look like kyle phillips is in line for his first start on the defensive line at defensive tackle."

I don't have any delusions about Butch. I want him to be Dabo. Run the program, make good hires, recruit and get out of the way and let players make plays. Up until this season, he's always had a well prepared, disciplined football team. Something hasn't jived with this team but it's fixable.
He isn't going to be Saban, Petrino or Meyer. No one we would hire would be those guys. Envy is the thief of joy.
I still think Butch can get it done here. He's proven he's not afraid to make tough decisions to better the program and I have confidence he will keep doing that.
It hurts so bad that this team should have 1 loss and be ranked 4 right now but instead our starting running back just quit and we have an inconsistent starting quarterback and singing that same ole song there's always next year.

Hurd's family entered themselves into this. Let's not act like it isn't that way. Arthurs post was blasted over social media before Jalen spoke with Butch.
Assuming that's even him, I still don't see how posting anonymously on a message board means that he and his wife have both consented to having their personal dirty laundry aired to thousands of people online.
Is that in the terms of service?
The vast majority of football teams are playing the "woulda coulda shoulda" game right now. We're hardly alone.
