Kamara hurt

I'm sure.

Honestly, when he tried to make the comparison, Iwondered if I was the one being a homer. But watching the replay, the two hits aren't really that close at all.

Yeah, that's why I didn't even bother tryin to argue the two. I even went back and watched the Chubb replay too, he was clearly in bounds. I just figured at that point he was grasping at straws.

I can't get over how asinine a comparison the Chubb hit is. Chubb was spinning upfield trying to stay in and got hit well inbounds as he was fighting for yards. If Chubb doesn't get hit, he's going pick up another yard. You've literally got no clue on this one.

I should have known better than to pick an example with UT involved. Orange glassea and whatnot.

Different example:

Tyrone Prothro's leg snapped in half of a hit that was accurately flagged for pass interference. The Florida DB got there early and dove onto Prothro. He was willing to accept a 15 yard foul rather than give up a TD. The weight of two players coming down at high speed caused Prothro an injury that ended his career. However, there was no malicious intent on the part of the DB, the hit wasn't dirty, and a similar injury could have happened on a play that had no penalty whatsoever.

One thing I notice the more I watch the Kamara hit, the Bama player was almost out of bounds before he start to launch himself. His only option was to hit him on the wrong side of the white. It wasn't even gonna be close.

You didn't argue. You just wished a similar injury on a Bama player.

And it's telling that your sick wish, which you repeated, is still out there, while me calling you exactly what you are got deleted. Pure class.

You should have known when you picked out a poor one you would get called out on the BS.

You typically a decent poster, you re unhinged here.

I didn't argue the Chubb bs because there is nothing to compare. I see it as no more sick than defending a player that take a dirty cheap shot on a player out of bounds.

You wished for Hurts to get injured before I ever mentioned Chubb. But keep on being human garbage, bro.

One had nothin to do with the other. Classic bama trash callin somebody else garbage. Like I told you earlier, I been called worse by better than you will ever be.

Lol... Oh I see. You're perfectly unbiased talking about your guy on a play that got flagged for being dangerous and I'm biased talking about a play that I have documented was clean.

Thanks for the lecture.

Something is wrong to have so many injuries in a season. Butch needs to get some medical expert to review the program to see if there is something they are doing wrong. They need to look at all areas, including tackling and other procedures, conditioning, weight program, trainer procedures, and any other area that could cause a problem. I don't think Bama had any injuries for that game. It's like fighting with one hand tied behind your back. It is difficult to believe that there isn't something wrong somewhere with so many injuries.

This one, while illegal under the rules of the game, was no more dangerous than any other.

The hit on Chubb was as unnecessary as the one on Kamara. Chubb was going out either way. The reason it wasn't flagged is because of about a foot and a half. But it was by no means necessary.

If Holcombe had gone at his knee I'd understand the outrage.

After looking at the video that was posted earlier, I can't believe the Bama player was not charged with targeting. He was clearly leading with his helmet, and Kamara was clearly stepping out of bounds. As far as the Chubb incident, he was hit once (not out of bounds) then tried to continue up field, was not heading out of bounds, so you think they should have left him alone to gain more yardage. Two completely different situations.

To be targeting you have to hit with the crown of the helmet. Holcombe didn't make contact with any part of his helmet, let alone the crown.

I've got nothing for you at this point. A kid just lost the season because of a late hit and you've convinced yourself that it's ok because even though it's illegal and dangerous to hit a guy that's given himself up out of bounds, it's just a football thing.

rammer jammer

Are you looking at the same video on page 16 that I am? Looks like he hit him on the hip directly with the crown of the helmet.

The bad part is he looks at Kamara going out of bounds, launches himself after looking(watch the gif), his teammates go to Kamara to check on him. It's blatantly obvious. The way the dudes body moves clearly shows that.

He gets up turning, looking around. I can't figure out if he is lookin, expecting a flag or looking for approval from his sideline.

Still not targeting.

Based on rule 9-1-3, quoted below, it looks like it would be targeting to me, but I am not an official, so maybe there is another interpretation.

**************************
Targeting and Initiating Contact With the Crown of the Helmet (Rule 9-1-3)

No player shall target and initiate contact against an opponent with the crown (top) of his helmet. When in question, it is a foul.
