Kamara hurt

I've got nothing for you at this point. A kid just lost the season because of a late hit and you've convinced yourself that it's ok. Bravo.

Did I say it was "okay"? Surely you can quote me.

I hate it for Kamara. I have met Kamara. I've spoken with him. I like him as a person every bit as much as I appreciate his talent on the field. There is no one on Tennessee's team that I want to see succeed more than him. I absolutely hate that he suffered the injury. If this is the end of his college career I will be incredibly bummed, and I will be pulling for him in the NFL. I like him for reasons much more significant than the name on his jersey.

So no, it's not okay. But it also wasn't dirty.

The last sentence makes no sense

But, it's ok for a player to take a late hit cheap shot on another player. I still don't think you make much sense!

It wasn't a cheap hit.

But, you're the one wishing injury on others, so why don't you tell me when it's okay?

It was dirty man. Your body doesn't launch itself like a missile on mistake. Surely you've played and know this. That guy nearly stopped his momentum to launch

If Kamara had been about a foot and a half to the right, would it have been any different?

Yes it would've it's still a cheap shot. If he was legitimately trying to tackle him he wouldn't go off one foot toward his legs.

No it isn't.

Ok, so you can plow a player that is clearly out of bounds, but as long as they don't get hurt then it is completely fine? If they do get hurt, then oh well it was just like any other hit anywhere on the field! That is exactly what you are saying!

But again, you are the one wishing injury on others. You certainly have thoughts as to when it's okay.

It's not okay for anyone to get injured.

Here's the thing that seems to confuse you.
There is NO legit reason to intentionally hit someone out of bounds. There are accidents caused by momentum, they are obvious.
He wasn't trying to pull up, he wasn't shifting direction and accidentally made contact despite his efforts.

He intentionally made a hit that cost his team yardage. So if he wasn't making a hit to help in field position, he was making an illegal hit in order to damage the opposition.

Spin till you're blue, doesn't change that he was trying to inflict damage. And despite you're claim, it's not the same as any other hit, it's a foul for a reason.

So you think Holcombe intentionally injured Kamara's left knee by hitting him in the right thigh?

I guess you don't understand that the way he was hit was what caused his left foot to be planted the way it was. Hi momentum after the hit, planting his foot his what injured his knee.

Holcombe did not intend to hit Kamara out of bounds

Agreed. He was trying to knock Kamara out of bounds.

He intentionally made a hit that cost his team yardage.

No he wasn't. He cost his team yardage, but that was not his intent.

So if he wasn't making a hit to help in field position, he was making an illegal hit in order to damage the opposition.

The result was not his intent.

No he wasn't.

So you think Holcombe knew that Kamara's left foot was going to plant at the exact moment of impact?

He intentionally launched himself into his thigh for no reason. And you sitting here saying it may be a late hit but it's not dirty makes you sound ridiculous. That's like saying I can rob a bank but I'm not a criminal. It was intentional watch him pull his arms toward his body as he launches.
