Obviously, they have had our number for 11 years now and I have been pretty outspoken that they have no reason to be nervous. However, it seems like Florida is going out of their way, more so than usual, to take shots at UT when they can.

Jalen Tabor: "12 in a row against the Vols? No doubt."

I'm starting to be converted that maybe Florida is actually more nervous this year than I thought. Haven't seen this much trash talk from them consistently in years.

They are not scared, just boisterous. Can't really blame them. 11-0. What else needs to be said? Until we have a coach that can change things this will be the case.

I hope we come out and hit the Gators and McElwain right in the teeth. It is a pretty big target. And can someone tell Jim to lay off the self tanner lotions?

McCallister missed the first game of the year and the last 4 1/2 games due to injury.

Morrison started every game but we have Anzalone back, who was a starter to begin the year, until injury. We also started Davis at LB and Rolin.

Florida played so many guys on defense last year, they are reloading.

Just an FYI, we play five O-Linemen but we return 6 guys that started multiple games.

Wow. Am I the only one that actually watched the Florida spring game. Del Rio looked good against a HORRIBLE 2nd team defense , so as far as reloading ya might wanna rethink that one! Can tell this guy has 2 plays on madden Deep ball and Blitz. No clue about x's and o's!!

Disagree, then again I'm old enough to remember Lindsay Scott.

For me, FSU is like the little brother you used to beat up on back in the day, then he grew up to be successful. Hell I almost went to school there before I got my head right.

UGA is that kid from the other neighborhood who would always come over and cause trouble, then grew up to be quite the underachiever.

Let's look at that rushing game at the end of the year:

vs Vanderbilt, Florida had 34 attempts for 93 yards (2.7 yards per carry)
vs Florida Atlantic, Florida had 44 attempts for 130 yards (3.0 yards per carry)
vs Alabama, Florida had 21 attempts for 15 yards (0.7 yards per carry)

Now, how about that supposedly great defense of yours?

Michigan had 503 yards of total offense vs Florida (225 yards rushing and 278 yards passing)

Everyone knew UF had a bad O-line with almost no depth last year. The running totals are from the last few games of the season. By that point your starters, who already weren't very good, are playing with nagging injuries and have no one to sub in for them. If we played UF at the end of the season we would have dominated them. But we didn't last year and we won't this year. Their guys will be healthy when we play them so bad O-line depth won't be nearly as big of an issue.

Del Rio is an upgrade over Treon Harris, and he's the son of an NFL head football coach, so I'm sure he's got a basic understanding of Xs and Os.

I do hope that there is a ton of trash talking on the field though. I want Hurd running over people and just standing over them, I want JRM to celebrate multiple sacks while the QB peels himself off the ground. I want Evan Berry to Deion Sanders high step into the endzone after returning a KO for a td!

As much as I love the hit Hurd layed on him, and as crazy as I went in the stadium when it happened, it's easy to see Hurd had the edge and would have probably scored if he had kept running towards the sideline instead of cutting it back inside. Plays like this are why people say Chubb and LF4 are better backs

I think the student athletes representing each respective school at SECMD speak volumes about this year. UF running their mouths (which they have the right to do), while Dobbs, JRM and Sutton are the definition of class.

Quiet indignation is far more dangerous than pompous chest thumping.
