For the record other previous Clay predictions:

Texas A&M is the new college football dynasty in 2013

BAMA football run is over in 2014

CBJ is just Dooley with worse hair in 2013

TN to win Flordia game each of the past three years

James Franklin will have PSU in title game within three years 2013

Looks like he is batting 1000:eek:lol:

I finally put it and Hunter Johnson threads on ignore. Have felt better all day since doing so. Lol

Ditto; I have heard all I want to about HJ...heck based on 247(seems they have something on him every other day)..you would think the guy is already a "Hypesman" Candidate.

You mean the game is not played mano e mano?

Seriously, obviously it is an 11 man game, but I would not really call Ole Miss' talent 'weak'. Per Rivals over the last 4 years UGA's classes have ranked #9 while Ole Miss' have ranked #.13.75 Both teams have a lot of turnover this season. And some of the talent UGA has recruited during that stretch are starting for Louisville now.

And for someone who touts the significance of Dobbs to our success this season it is sort of funny to see you trying to downplay the QB role at another school. The disparity between Kelly and anyone UGA starts at QB this season is huge. Kelly threw for over 4000 yards last season and ran for over 500 more yards w/ 10 rushing TDs. Lambert threw for less than 2000 yards and 12 TDs, and had -39 yards rushing w/ 1 rushing TD. UGA's other alternative is a kid, albeit talented, who has never taken a college snap. Add to that the fact that Kelly and Ole Miss scored 43 pts on the Tide last season in Tuscaloosa while Lambert and UGA managed to put up a goose egg against the Tide in Athens...with a healthy Chubb.

Considering that UGA had no answer for Dobbs last season, and considering Smart had no answer for Kelly last season, I look for Kelly to have a field day against UGA in Oxford.

Well that your problem. You're relying on the faulty 4 year average. If you look at that faulty metric, you'll miss the truth about Ole Miss's current talent deficit.

Ole Miss best 2 recruiting classes were 2013 and 2016. The 3 guys that made 2013 a top 5 class are off to the NFL. And the 2016 class are freshmen. Even the best freshmen classes produce only 2-3 impact players.

So if you look at recruiting rankings for 2014 and 2015, which are the most pertinent to judging talent this year since those classes have not been raided by the NFL yet and aren't freshmen, you'll see Ole Miss's talent is WEAK.

Ole Miss 2014 class was rated #19 in the nation by rivals and their 2015 class were rated #21. Meanwhile, Georgia was rated #7 and #6 respectively those 2 years.

So based on the actual talent that will actually be on the field this season, not classes that include guys already in the NFL or freshmen who are rarely ready, Georgia is way more talented.

Georgia talent ranks at #6.5 while Ole Miss is at #20.

People like you who rely on the faulty 4 year average aren't seeing this impending collapse in Oxford. I think Georgia beats them this year in Oxford.

I just may give up on UT football for good if the Vols can't take care of business against these fools this year. An excellent team with all the motivation in the world to end that god awful streak. Please get it done, Butch.

Butch Jones should resign on the spot if he can't beat Florida this year.

On paper I absolutely agree with him.

This game regularly does funny things to the paper though.

Not really. For the last 10 years the series has held up to form according to Vegas.

From 2006-2013 we were the underdog to Florida EVERY YEAR. Most of the time by big point spreads. And Florida did what that were supposed to do blowing us out on most occasions.

In 2014 we were a 1 point favorite, we lost by 1 point.

In 2015 we were a 1 point favorite, we lost by 1 point.

In 2016 we are currently 12 point favorites.

Vegas is usually not this wrong about things. We should handle Florida quite easily this year.

He does that every two years when Florida comes to Neyland. He said the exact same thing in 2012 and 2014. Clay Travis is right about Tennessee/UF exactly never.

Vegas has us as 12 point favorites this year.

In the last 10 years, we have only been favored over Florida TWICE. 1 point favorite in 2014. And a 1 point favorite in 2015.

We obviously lost both games by 1 point but Vegas was basically right. And before that Florida pretty much beat is easily.

Vegas doesn't just make guesses. They must know something if they're making us such strong favorites.

You have to go in PC mode. Click on that thread's forum...then that thread...then thread tools.

Would be great to add that feature to the mobile version of VN...

Of course, after I got trapped inside the TH thread when all y'all put it on ignore, maybe there should be an "Escape Thread " feature too. Thought I was a goner. All the chaos and end of the worlders were in there posting like mad...it brought me to the brink of negavolism. Therapy is helping. Nightmarish experience :)

Sure am. 177 AR BDE. How long you been there?

I have been here about 4.5 years. I'm ADOS so I don't have the PCS requirements that AGR or Active guys have. I worked about three years as the Installtion Budget Officer managing mostly the MOB funds. Now I work for the ARNG Operation Group as the S-4/8.

I tried to figure out how to put them on ignore, but I'm too dense to get it. How do you put a thread on ignore? TIA

Top of any page in a thread has a thread tools drop down. Click and then click "Ignore Thread"

You have to be in PC mode though. Mobile doesn't have this feature.

I just added TH, HJ and TL to IGNORE status.

Time to review only the relevant threads at this point.
