Edit: not to mention, WWI was the war that proved that War is hell and young men are sent to die to settle scores created by old rich men. Not a great example.
I'm educated sir. The Lusitania was a British ship that happened to have 128 Americans on it. Britain was already at war. the U.S. joining was also an unpopular decision, but we probably saved countless innocent lives by entering. Either way. Ali is an icon, but I still wouldn't consider him a great human being.
Sure, let's overlook the fact he was a racist, a piece of sh** to women, didn't even acknowledge some of his children, and tried to ruin Joe Frasier after he went way out his way to help Ali. Other than that he's a great guy.
Because that too would be a cop out. When your country comes knocking because they need you, you answer the door. Not run and hide. That's cowardly.
