Yep. The exposure of being the VP certainly can't hurt him in the long run. It's a good career move for him regardless of what he says especially with him honoring his pledge to limit his terms in the Senate.

He could bring a youthful exuberance to the ticket as well as bridging the gap between the "establishment" and Trump.

You guys don't think Rubio's comments about Trump are disqualifying?

He's going to be asked that question literally every time he gives a speech or is in front of any press.

I'm sure there were some nastygrams in there, but he did not put her on his ticket.

My point is that he cannot effectively campaign for Trump after having made those comments. Same with Cruz, not that I think Lyin Ted would ever even consider it.

Yeah, there were some serious knock down, drag outs with those two in 2008. And she ended up being in his cabinet.

Point being is that plenty of candidates have said nasty things about each other during the primaries and ended up working together later. I mean for crying out loud, Bush 41 raked Reagan over the coals during the 1980 primaries and ended up being his running mate. There is something you still fail to realize this election cycle. And that is "there is no such thing as never happen."

Being in his cabinet years later is obviously not the same thing as being on the ticket, and spending every day for 6 months explaining why you now support the con man.

If he's honest, he'd say "Because he'll make me VP and that's pretty cool," we'd all have a good laugh and it would be old news in two days. But he'll feel compelled to give some mealy-mouthed answer about how he's spoken to him and hearts and dreams of the American people, and uniting, and not four more years of Obama, blah blah blah blah blah.

For which he will, rightfully, be mocked for those six months.

While LG's posts give me a chuckle from time to time, I had a good laugh a little while ago when I visited my business neighbors for a few minutes. It's an insurance agency and they have this lady that came in to help while their regular receptionist is out on maternity leave. Somehow the conversation turned to politics and we were discussing who we were voting for. She makes the announcement she is voting for Trump. So I ask her "why not Hillary? She's a woman and all."

I get the reply of "because that b!tch doesn't represent me or any other woman."

Cool story bro and all, but I think I just fell for her. She's about my age and obviously has a good head on her shoulders. Not bad looking either.

Trump supporters seem to be better looking. I challenge anyone to find me one good looking Bernie/Hillary fan.
