No one's advocating him not giving football a "chance". I just don't see it being the plum opportunity that most of us would envision if he's not on the path to PLAY. He gets into a Tyrod Taylor situation? Play it out. Chase Daniel? Aerospace firm...about that position?
Like you said, Dobbs isn't going to make stupid decision. And with his intangibles, he'll have plenty of good opportunities. Maybe his passion is following out his football dream first, even if that means starting toward the bottom.
Chase Daniel just signed a 21 mil contract for 3 years. If football isn't the dream, could dreams not be put on hold a few years to secure financial stability and give yourself more opportunities over your life?
