Not sure why you think anyone has "written them off." Overreaction.

We just don't fear them, and we shouldn't. They may have beaten us some, but they have squandered talent for 30 years. Richt coached during our worst stretch in school history. Derek Dooley and Butch Jones each had the two worst rosters I have seen at UT in my lifetime. In that historic stretch, we played UGA to 4 one possession losses, and Butch should have won his first game. Maybe Smart is better, but we damn sure are as well. I say bring it on.

Is uga switching to a 4-3 with Mel Tucker, I'm pretty sure he was a 43 guy in the nfl but I know smart is a 34 guy. I'm just hoping they don't explode into a powerhouse. Their coordinators sure dont worry me though.

I do have sense but eveytime we state our opinion which are mostly facts anyway about Georgia, you get bent out of shape. Mark Richt recruited Top 10 classes year & year out. That's pretty close to Bama's level. How many championships did they win during the Richt era?? ZERO. How many games did they give away due to Richt's coaching? A LOT. Did you forget that we beat Georgia last year in Neyland Stadium or was that just some crazy dream? Either way, Richt will always be known as an underachiever. Even some Georgia fans will tell you that. If you'd quit defending them and actually listen to your own fans for once, maybe you'll start coming to your senses. Key word: "Hopefully"

Does it matter if Richt under achieved while basically dominating us for that period? They won 5 straight iirc and we finally win one and all of a sudden uga is garbage? I think we have the talent to beat uga but that game in Athens is no gimme. When was the last time we won in Athens by the way?

So you're in awe of UGA because they beat an incompetent coach that recruited like he was still at LA Tech? A dip$h!t that set our program back years. They were suppose to beat us. If you're scared of UGA, say you're scared. Don't make excuses for them.

We lost 4 straight to uga from 00-03 with a good coach and loaded rosters so what's your point. My point is uga will be our toughest game this year in my opinion. Awe and scared doesn't have anything to do with it.

For real. It's almost like some of our fans forgot that Derek Dufus was our coach for two years. Anybody could have beat him. Just ask Joker Phillips. Obviously we're scared of Georgia so maybe we all should start a petition to remove them from our schedule. That way we don't have to play them. :crazy:

My bad you're right, let me pencil that game in as a win because we've dominated them since the turn of the century. Btw fulmer was 3-6 against Richt, but I have a feeling you're gonna tell me he was a $hi++y coach too

Call me crazy or scared or whatever but I happen to have a little respect for the teams that have been beating us for the last 16 years.

Fulmer got lazy with recruiting that actually set us back a couple of years. He had a lot of bad losses especially losing to Wyoming in Neyland Stadium in 2008. Fulmer was a good coach but most of the fans wanted him out cause we knew his time here was up. Georgia has recruited better than Tennessee over the years. Thanks to Butch, we're recruiting on an high level that's not been done in some quite time now. It's too bad we had to go through Dooley and Kiffin to get where we're at right now. By the way, if we do win in Athens this year, what will be your excuse? That we got lucky or something along those lines? I'm sure you won't give Butch any credit if we win that game.

Your opinions/facts may all be true but Richt won't be coaching UGA this year... I think all that's being said here is we may not be happy he's gone..

Are you more worried about a team that we just beat, and nearly beat each of the last 3 times we played (twice with bad and/or young, inexperienced football teams in 2013 and 2014) and who we're pretty much 50-50 with all-time.........or teams like Florida and Bama who've kicked the ish out of us 20 straight times and 49 out of the last 71 times collectively that we've played?

I respect Georgia and the talent they have but I don't sweat those guys, I always believe we're gonna beat them. The other two though? Not so much.

4* Texas A&M quarterback "commit" Tate Martell posted on Twitter that as of now he is committed to A&M but wants to take all of his officials. He listed some schools that he wants to see and wants an offer from and Tennessee was one of them. 2017 class.
