That doesn't make them a top ten program. So Vandy is a top ten program because James Franklin beat us like a rented mule. Energy and intensity does not equal competency as a head coach.

Go find a link that says UT is Top 10 in wins and post it here. Tennessee has a slight edge in wins
all time, its not a big margin. And Top 10 in wins means nothing if Georgia is 2-3 spots behind us,
which is most likely.

You have no idea what Smart is capable of, and are you telling me Butch Jones is the most "competent"
coach in the East? I dont think so. Anyway, you'll excuse me if I'm not blind to the fact that Georgia
is a potential nightmare now that Mark "Fulmer" Richt is gone. Taking them for granted is not wise.

Over the past decade, they are a top 10 program. You act as though the down cycles don't happen for everyone

Look at USC, Texas, and Oregon over the last couple of years. Georgia, at their weakest over the last decade did not drop that far

Spot on. Butch has us in the right spot, but UGA is going to be a Bama like problem. Kirby could be awful, but I wouldn't bank on it. Hopefully, middle of the road coach

How would you guys feel if next year, when we play Florida, we're standing on the 50 getting ready for the coin toss and our captains refused to shake to the hands of Florida's captains?

Is it just part of a rivalry that could very easily turn back into what it used to be? Or is it just poor sportsmanship? Either way, would you support it or be opposed to it?

Don't like it. Shake hands and spend the next 60 minutes trying to get them to tap out and quit.

Haven't seen anything about this, so SIAP. I saw where Tate Martell tweeted a group of schools that he'd like to see/receive an offer from, and TN was on the list. Seems a little weird we haven't offered the top DT for 2017 considering there's mutual interest. Maybe thought he was too solid to sway from TAMU? Anybody got some insight?

Surprised and disappointed we have not heard more than we have from/about recruits after the O & W game. I thought there would be several tweets from recruits about visit etc.

You're splitting hairs. Nobody is going to miss Mark Richt as much as me, but the guy was 10-5 against
us, so I find it wildly ironic that UT fans are saying "Georgia will never amount to anything" when we
all know they are the biggest sleeper in the conference.

I'm praying Kirby Smart bombs, but its a little early to declare Georgia DOA. Recruits have said they
were impressed with the energy and intensity of practices that weren't there last year. With the
right coach, Georgia has the potential to dominate the East, and you'll have to excuse me if I dont
count them as an automatic W for the next millennium. Even Jim Donnan beat Fulmer the same year
he was fired for cryin out loud.

We beat them before Richt got there too, they still had talent in that state then too... just sayin history of making "right hire" not good. :p

820 versus 787, and that is with us coming out of a horrible decade. We are 8th all time in wins. They're 11th. So no, they are not top 10. And they will not be top 10 anytime soon.

Beating uga this year is very important for the future, and the same goes for fl, gotta start beating these two teams for recruiting

The list I see is UT #9 and UGA #11. Big f'in deal! Is that all you guys have? If so, we're in bigger
trouble than I thought.

So Top 10 in wins for UT means that Georgia will never realize its potential? OK, got it. (Must learn to
think like Gilligan).

Last time I checked, the all time record was a tie. And your comment is pretty funny considering we're on
our 4th coach in 8 years. LOL

Geez, settle down. Georgia is a solid program with a solid history.

Go root for that POS school, and join that POS fan base. You sound like them. Boasting and bragging and haven't accomplished $h!t.

Some of you guys are hilarious. I hate Georgia, I hate their fans, I even hate driving through that damn
state on the way home to Nashville, but you nits that are claiming "never amount to anything" are about
to get a dose of reality now that Richt is gone. Its bad enough that bozo was 10-5 against us, but now
that he's gone UGA could become our new nemesis in the East. Its just foolish to write them off as a
nonentity, but I keep forgetting who I'm dealing with on this board. Y'all have at it, I'm out.

Actually, I believe our win last year put us one game ahead. But as you say, I guess that is "splitting hairs."

Im preparing for UGA to be good.

All I can say is CBJ and his staff better be ready too. It's past time to be great again
