If he'd kept his head on straight, he had a good chance good chance of cracking the top 3. Going into 2015, he had 111 career receptions. If he'd matched his 2014 totals, he would have finished with 165. That would have made him #3 all time behind Marcus Nash.
He just couldn't step away from the herb though.
UGA is not a top ten program.
And when a highly rated HS prospect is signed, you really do not know what you will have. Difficult to measure the "want to" in a prospect. Travis Cozart refused to keep it between the lines, but a high character J.J. McClesky proved the experts wrong and played and lived at a top quality level.
You're splitting hairs. Nobody is going to miss Mark Richt as much as me, but the guy was 10-5 against
us, so I find it wildly ironic that UT fans are saying "Georgia will never amount to anything" when we
all know they are the biggest sleeper in the conference.
I'm praying Kirby Smart bombs, but its a little early to declare Georgia DOA. Recruits have said they
were impressed with the energy and intensity of practices that weren't there last year. With the
right coach, Georgia has the potential to dominate the East, and you'll have to excuse me if I dont
count them as an automatic W for the next millennium. Even Jim Donnan beat Fulmer the same year
he was fired for cryin out loud.
