Statistically not true, less than 10% of recruits actually decommit. It's just that everyone remembers the ones who do.
That stat may be true in a general sense but it's irrelevant using it in relation to us. Butch tends to take more projects than necessary, though I think with Shoop and Scott on board the evaluation standard will be raised and we'll see less projects than in the previous calendar years.Statistically not true, less than 10% of recruits actually decommit. Thanks for the information GFW. He sure does appear to be trending to Clemson right now, whatever that means. I try not to get too excited or too down until January, at least, unless the players are EE. I would imagine that this one will go until at least January, but who knows? I know that if he does commit to Clemson, it still will not be over.

3. Chidi Okanya
4. Bailey phillips
5. Tadarryl Marshall
6. Tim Hart
7. Emmanuel Bridges
8. Brodarius Hamm
9. Emmit Gooden
10. Dorian Banks
That's 32%

A lot will change over this special season.
Tee Higgins will be a Vol.
and so will Amari Rodgers. Amari is perfect for our offense. But its more than that... every boy wants to connect with his father. Playing with UT will be that opportunity. Call it a hunch.
After we beat Florida... things will really begin to shift.
I think that it really should not be a shock to anyone when a kid from Knoxville or the surrounding area chooses to attend a school other than UTK. Sure, I want them here but, a lot of kids when deciding on a college like to get away from home. That's partly what college is about. Getting away from parents and learning to become a self reliant adult. So, we shouldn't really get upset or feel offended when someone chooses to get a little further from home but, I do really hope that Tee stays home![]()
