Isn't it kinda strange how almost every Tennessee football rumor ends up being true? No matter how weird or out of left field they start out.

Seems like other programs always have crazy rumors floating around that are quickly proven false. But with Tennessee, if there are murmurs on Twitter about anything, there's like a 90% chance it's true.

Transfer rumors sure don't fit this mold.

I'm ready for us to get our next first commit for the 2017 class. Who's going to get the ball rolling? Predictions?

@RockyTopInsider: Help settle an internal RTI debate: Is it "I'm a VOL fan" or "I'm a VOLS fan?"

What do y'all think? It's always drove me nuts when people say they're a "Vols" fan.

It's either "I'm a Vol fan" or "I'm a fan of the Vols"

The chant is ~" It's great to be a Tennessee Vol."

Saying "I'm a Vol fan" insinuates you are a fan of a singular Vol. "I'm a Vols fan", incompasses all things/people Vols.

The chant..."It's great to be a Tennessee Vol" in intended to be singular, because the chant is referring to you.

This reminds me of those left side verses right side Twix commercials where people argue over whether the cookie is cloaked in chocolate or bathed in chocolate.

Would you say, "I'm a Volunteers fan" or "I am a Volunteer fan"? Vols or Vol is just a simple abbreviation. Considering that we are the "Tennessee Volunteers," option A seems to be the correct answer.

Although I say "Vols fan," there are plenty of formal/informal references to the fanbase with just "Vol" in the title.

VolQuest. Vol Calls. Vol Network. VolNation.

I don't care what your political preferences are. If you are able, get out and use your God-given right to go vote. Standing in line as we speak.

That's all. Go Vol(s)!!

Full of? Point those out for me.

I see "in" instead of "is". Show me the rest. I'm sure my students would be interested for me to print it out for them, so they can have a good laugh.

Edit: Lol...Yep, just noticed misspelled encompasses too. They will get a good laugh out of that one. Leave me alone. I just got over the bug that causes nasty things to come out of both ends. It hasn't been a pretty two days in my household.

I always say that I am a Volunteer fan or that I am a proud Tennessee Volunteer. I may occasionally say I'm a Vols fan, but I more than occasionally say that I am Vol fan. I think that this debate is much less cut and dried than the "woo" in Rocky Top debate.
