That Michigan Uber driver sure used his semi automatic pistol to fend off old people at the Cracker Barrel. I'm sure, had they been packing, that they could have picked him off as he just rolled up and started shooting.

Through your sarcasm you expose the real problem. The real problem is the undeniable fact that we do not have enough gun laws. I think the president should immediately issue an executive order to outlaw shooting people at a Cracker Barrel. Since laws prohibit people from doing things that are illegal, we should have had laws in place against murdering people at Cracker Barrels long ago, and our nation would not see senseless tragedies such as this.

Unless you're varmint shooting, a 6X should be about as much as you'll need with an AR.

I would agree with that. I have a 2.5X shotgun scope on my Mini 14. It's hard to find stuff very quickly in a 24X.

Daisy .880 is lethal for squirrels and birds. Exit wounds the size a nickel.
