The only opinion I have is that as an attorney, I would never sign my name to that Complaint filed on behalf of the Plaintiffs. It's littered with speculation, and is very reckless. If some of that stuff ends up being proven to be false, that law firm and those attorneys could be in for a very bad day.
TBH, I don't think you can win by fighting a case like this. The damage is done in the press not by the outcome. No one will care if UT wins the case but they will care if you keep it in the headlines and in doing so UT will take a beating even if they win. Headlines are what people read - they don't bother with actual facts or with even reading the stories, just the headlines and that headline is gonna scream "UT COVERS UP RAPE!!!!!!" because that's what sells newspapers and get clicks.
how so? not questioning. asking as a legit discussion.

It was a shame Bowles was made out the bad guy on here during that whole ordeal.
Do we know that he wasn't? I mean, it's all rumors and speculation. If he really did convince a girl to press charges over consensual sex because he was jealous, he's a bad guy. If he encouraged a girl to press charges over legitimate rape, he's not a bad guy. How do we know what happened? The way you said it made me think some truth has come to light, but I haven't read anything but speculation on both sides.
