I think he is calculating that he'll get more mileage out of his PR stunt than showing up to the debate with a target on his back.

I'm not here to defend Trump...just amused at the different reactions.

It's possible, but I'm not sure it will help him in Iowa. The caucus-goers are wired differently.

Elsewhere, I don't think it will hurt him. If he goes through with the veterans event, it's a really good PR move.

Man. She asked him questions based on **** HE ACTUALLY SAID. That's not attacking. If he can't face a fox news mod... Then how does he deal with real issues? By going home and cuddling with his teddy bear?

This pains me. But this is the one thing he finally explained. His plan is to negotiate a reduction in the debt that Mexico owes us. 1) I didn't know Mexico owes us a debt. 2) I would imagine the amount he would excuse would be more than what it would cost to build it ourselves. 3) I don't see them building a wall for us for any reason. Particularly because Trump said so.

4) it's more of a political talking point than an actual solution. They already tunnel underneath the fences we do have in place.
