Yeah man I had to take an Incomplete on my freshman year biology class because I messed up the times for the final. Then, to compound things, no one told me I wasn't supposed to re enroll for the next Bio class and it turned into an F on my transcript I found later. :/ My overall gpa was 3.6 so you can imagine how I felt about an F being on there!
For sure
IMO the difference is negleable regarding recruiting either way
If you are selling Nigel Warrior on joining a team that is going to compete for a championship next season it is a lot easier to do so with 9 wins, 6 in a row and finishing the season over a top 15 team. Because if we lose, the game against Northwestern, you are an 8 win team and teams recruiting against you are going to say you didn't beat a ranked team all year.
Perception and momentum in recruiting is everything.

Yep. And IMO we needed to win this bowl game no matter who our opponent was. I don't think Northwestern is a top 15 team in the nation, but they are ranked that high so might as well get that win against a top 15 ranked team.

Agree to disagree
This game doesn't define momentum IMO.

They dont need to be 7-6 again. They need to get nine to 10 wins. Theyve been floundering in mediocrity since 2007. Its been eight years since Tennessee has been relevant in the East.

Bowl game is a must win...
You know that feeling you get when you completely inexcusable **** something up but don't know about it until it's too late? Well just got a big dose of that feeling.
Was doing a late night cram session for my last two finals tomorrow morning. I decided to look at the syllabus's time for the exams just to make sure the time I recorded wasn't off by a bit-- basically being slightly anal about stuff-- only to see that both exams were actually this morning... I don't even know what to do with myself right now. I emailed both professors but I might have just royally ****ed myself.
