I think it's been proven that almost every player Butch signs is a legit 4 star caliber athlete or better.

How much of that is butch jones and how much is his staff?

Would love to know how much the task of evaluating prospects is delagated to assistant coaches and which ones in particular.

I'd give some credit to the Bob's, but I'd still give a huge amount of credit to Butch because it's his team, his philosophy, and his players. He sets the ground rules, the staff does the rest, and Butch serves as the closer if need be.

His ability to seal the deal rivals Fulmer's in the glory days.

I think it'd be cool to go to the nosebleeds and watch a play develop like the guys in the box see

Yeah, best seats in the house IMO are 50 yard line front row of the upper deck. You can see everything and you aren't so far that you can't tell who's who on the field.

Neyland is so steep once you get to a certain point you start missing details. Fakes become really convincing.

About the first few rows of the upper deck is perfect. Up near the top and I get too distracted by low flying aircraft.

I was in section XX for the arky game and pp for the Vandy game. Was jumping up and down screaming because you could see the holes for EB's KOR TD and Cam's punt return TD coming wide open. Pretty sweet.

That's awesome I love seeing those develop too. It's neat when a portion of the crowd starts to erupt before the rest. You're like "Whaaaats go.... Ah! Heck yea!!!"

What gets me are the people who instantly see penalties even up in the nose bleeds. Maybe I just suck at watching football, but I'm always amazed at people who spot holding from the upper deck during the middle of a big play (before a flag is even thrown) or a block in the back on a return. I can't watch anything but where the ball is when watching live, especially in person.

Grew up with season tickets in the first rows of QQ. Nothing better than seeing the hole open up and then someone bust open a big play coming right into your end zone.

I did this on Cams punt return against Vandy. I saw the flag thrown and he broke free and everyone jumped up and was cheering but I just sat there because I saw the flag and knew it was coming back. Little did I know it was on Vandy lol

Haha yeah. I was pissed when I saw the flag. You could tell a lot of people in the crowd saw it as well, as the celebration when he reached the end zone was a little subdued.

You know that feeling you get when you completely inexcusable **** something up but don't know about it until it's too late? Well just got a big dose of that feeling.

Was doing a late night cram session for my last two finals tomorrow morning. I decided to look at the syllabus's time for the exams just to make sure the time I recorded wasn't off by a bit-- basically being slightly anal about stuff-- only to see that both exams were actually this morning... I don't even know what to do with myself right now. I emailed both professors but I might have just royally ****ed myself.
