Thread of the year worthy. I mean that, honestly. OP you have done such a great thing. We beat Vandy in dominating fashion to end the season at 8-4. We had our best season since 2007. One of the best rushing seasons in school history. Sorry, I digress. Instead of being happy and enjoying the win, lets discuss which coach is going to leave. We have to have some negative threads on the same night as a dominating win right? Of course, because this is VolNation. Home of the perpetually unpleaseable fan base.

I don't understand how y'all can be so sure that Mahoney is toast after we put up the most rush yards in over a decade. The offensive line is obviously improved.

After watching a few college games from Texas to Tennessee I'm thinking there is a problem with the grass seeds that are being pawned off on teams from the south.
Many fields looked the same...just like ours...total disaster...jus' sayin'...:whistling:

Most of those gleefully predicted four wins after Arkansas with losses to Kentucky,Mizzou and Vandy guaranteed. Not been a good year. :sad:

We don't celebrate Vandy wins anymore. Butch has provided order to the universe again and we don't have to worry about UK and Vandy anymore. I don't think the OP had a negative agenda and don't think anything is wrong about speculating on possible coaching changes.

Please, not Thig. His group has produced. In fact, every position group has produced and improved over the season...except one.

Which position group has consistently underperformed in spite of loads of talent? To the point where we all STILL say after the last game of the regular season: "Whoa...hang on here...something is not right..."

Something tells me that the coach of this group might be made an offer he can't refuse from another school to go coach there. He might be recruited away.

And before the "injuries" card is played, let's ask ourselves WHY has this group had so much more than its share of injuries this year...way out of proportion to the rest of the position rooms.

We are on an upward arc and showing steady, consistent improvement. My preference would be to maintain continuity and have no coaches leave.
