You can't hit franchise QBs anywhere without risking a penalty. Refs can and will find something to penalize if it happens too many times in a game. Have to protect the money generators.

They get more calls for sure. Still doesn't change that Bass hit Brees' helmet though.

I wasn't saying you were wrong. Just making an observation. It is so subjective at times, which makes it inconsistent.

Oh the whole thing is dumb and inconsistent for sure. Refs play favorites and different refs have different interpretations. The missed ones like UGA on Dobbs piss me off, and I don't like the rule as it is now. Hard for me to get mad at a ref calling the rule the way it's written though.

My friend looks at me and says "if Tennessee don't want him I'm sure Bama will. You are the worst evaluator of talent I've ever seen."

The kid was by far the best player on the field. He showed why he's a big time recruit.

If I am on Missouri admin I'd field a ream of walkons before I'd let these turds hold my school hostage. Revoke schollies and fire any coach who supported it. This is going to cause nightmares for everybody going forward if they capitulate. This is ridiculous. Pinkle's a jerk for going along with this.

I'm thinking this is a message from within the coaching staff via Matthews. I think they are expecting more from TKjr. Noticed that Evan Berry played some safety yesterday. He's played sparingly there but yesterday got more time. Could be he's pushing TKjr.

What a great game! The OL looked totally different after the changes Mularky made. The whole offense just ran smoother. I didn't like a bit of the play calling, but it's hard to complain about anything when we put up more points than the last 3 weeks combined though.

Kareem Orr got his 4th INT of the season this week.

First true freshman to get 4 INT's for ASU In nearly 40 years. Looking like he'll be a freshman all American. Wish we would of extended an offer..... got NFL written all over him.

It says catastrophic circumstances or shortage of players. I'm not sure if that is how it works

Yeah, I would interpret that as a shortage of players due to some unavoidable outside event, not shortage of players by choice.
