It's been over seven weeks since Maggitt was hurt. The original timeline given by Jones was 6-10 weeks. Anybody heard anything?

Would be better to let Maggitt and Croom take time to heal and secure a medical RS for each-- assuming Maggitt wants to come back for a sixth year. I'm thinking he will-- 2016 should be the payoff.

I honestly thought Kelly's overall talent looked as good as anybody's. Top end speed I'll give up that argument, but one thing that stood out to me (and is usually hard to tell from high school tape because these guys are so often outrunning everybody on the field) was his ability to get tough yards in confined space. That to me is more important than pure speed. Heck neither Emmitt Smith and Travis Henry had burner speed, but were awesome RBs because of that ability.

Siap, Wisenhunt has been fired.

Doesn't matter who we hire as a HC. It starts with the CEO and whoever is running the show back in Houston,TX/Nashville,TN. Titans will still be trash if we don't change owners again. It's sad that the stadium is all opposing fans the past few years. They care more about money than a damn football team.

If Maggitt comes back DE is going to be really crowded. I don't want to lose Philips or Taylor for 2-3 years to get KM back for one. Love the guy, but Vereen is making this one not seem very painful now.

So they transfer out and lose a year instead of being back up for a year?

I think you are right. I will go:

1. LSU
2. Clemson
3. Michigan State
4. Iowa
5. Ohio State
6. Florida
7. Alabama
8. Stanford
9. Utah
10. Memphis

If you really look at the schedules of TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma State, they have literally played NO ONE so far.

Big 10 teams in the 3rd, 4th & 5th spots?

I don't know if I want to keep living...

If Maggitt wants to come back, coaches will petition for a medical RS and get it. He's a team leader, and we can use the depth to rotate players and keep them fresh. And there's always injuries-- every year, we're a few hits away from losing key players. If we get Maggitt and at least one of Sutton and JRM back, that will be stellar.

Coaches prioritized Kelly as a take over Bussey and Love. That's why Bussey went to aTm-- he didn't want to grayshirt at UT.

Yep on Bussey, not sure about Love though. I think he just fell in love with Stanford. Doesn't matter now, we got a good one.

Like I said, love the guy. I think if he comes back it will create headaches. You might be right, it might work out great. But imo Philips should be turned loose to create havoc on the SEC, and not pissed off at his team fir having to burn another year waiting on a senior to leave, who is already supposed to be gone.

IIRC, we felt Love was a Stanford lean, so when we took Kelly, that pretty much sealed Love's decision. I was hoping we'd push harder for Love or Bussey and take two RBs, but we basically cut Bussey free... then ended up taking Young. The coaches know what they're doing, but that seemed odd to me. We def need two beast-mode RBs in this class, though.

Is it too early to be wondering about EEs? Do we know who is planning on getting in early at this point?

Na, we are fine with taking 1 this class and then doubling up next class.

If Maggitt does return he will definitely start but I think playing time will be pretty equal to whoever his backup will be. With his career plagued by injury I think the coaches will try to use him in more situational plays to prevent him getting hurt again. JMO

Did you all know TN vs SC has only had 1 game since 2000 that has been more than a one possession game in Knoxville?

The 2009 game was an 18pt TN win. Every other game even back in 2001 and 2003 when we were a great team still and in 2011 and 2013 when they were great and we stunk.

That makes me nervous.

I don't think its too early to ask. You're either on track to graduate in December or not at this point.

Yeah. We should be at the point in 2016 where we can RS a lot of freshman but it'd be nice to get some in early, especially our JUCOs.
