It was not the right time for tee or his family. He was very torn about that decision. It was the hardest decision he had to make, but his family comes first and the timing was off. He wants to be back in Knoxville. It kills me to see so many hate on a man for being an upright person, and a man that is a VFL through and through.
Thank you for weighing in. I'm tired of everyone being butthurt over a man making a decision based on what's best for his family and career at that point in time.
I'd like for us to hire Tee as the quarterback coach/co-reciever coach and keep Azzanni as recruiting coordinator/co reciever coach. Both could be potental OC in waiting. I feel they could make a good team. And I doubt Payton would just jump into the quarterback coaching job right after he retires from the NFL. I'm sure he'll take a couple years off before me makes the transition.
Tee is a great guy and VFL. I'm sorry most of you can't understand making a business and family decision.
also that 2011 offense was awesome under Chaney 336 yards and 20 points per game..despite having, a NFL QB, 2 NFL WRs, a NFL TE, 2 NFL RBs, plus 4 NFL OL
a former player told me that Azzanni and Butch have gotten into it more than once at practice... wouldn't be surprised if he got fired... also, wouldn't be surprised if he and Butch did have that altercation after the arkansas game.
