Interesting thoughts on the 2pt decision.

Cbj is on the record saying that before the drive the decision was made to kick the extra point based on the "chart". I actually agree with that decision at that time. Keep in mind that was in the 3rd QT and it's true you shouldn't go for 2 in the 3rd QT

However the length of the drive went so much longer than our normal drives that he just failed to reevaluated his "chart"

Doesn't make me feel any better or excuse him at all but it does explain why the "chart" said what it said IMO

Man, just drop it. You can't defend the decisions he made in this game. Okie, maybe due to some plays that should have been made that would have made their strategy work. But, this was so poor it can't be defended. When he comes out with the remarks he did as his press conference, it is not to sound good with recruits, it is because he believes it. The on field coaching makes him look like an idiot and then what he said in his press conference confirms it. He is going to screw this up if he doesn't learn to take some responsibility and fix it.

Arkansas' run defense is overrated. Their opponents have been very pass oriented. They simply aren't running much, and for the most part, didn't have good running backs.

Florida wasn't even with us. Their OL situation isn't peachy at all, defense was beat up, and there are three other defenders on Maggit's level. As far as offensive improvement, I dunno, maybe people thought there would be development through coaching.

On the bright side we got a pretty good team on our hands. Gaulden injury is proving to be really big. We have pretty much played entire season without Pig our leading WR from last year. We haven't clicked in pass game yet we should still be 4-0. When's the last time we said that?
