At some point UT Admin. is going to have to get over the bad habit of playing to the drama queens if they ever again want a winning program.

If the wheels fall off this season and Jones is let go, who are your potential candidates for a replacement?

I think we go after Chip Kelly, who was also recently mentioned in relation to the UT job by Pat Forde. He seems more fit for college football, is a proven winner, and can bring new life to our downtrodden program and exhausted fanbase.

Jones just isn't going to cut it, and keeping him another year will just be another year wasted in mediocrity. When Florida's first-year coach can come from behind to beat us with a team with less talent and depth, you know there is something fundamentally wrong with the leadership of our coaching staff. Good coaches don't blow 13-point leads in the 4th twice in three weeks. It will soon be time to make a change.

Gruden didn't want to start from scratch and rebuild. Well, it has been rebuilt. Jones got the horses and now Gruden, Kelly, or Whittingham can come in and dominate.

I understand the frustration but threads like this don't help anything. Dave Hart could justify firing Dooley in his third year because he hadn't hired him in the first place. The Butch Jones hire is Hart's baby, however, and I don't see him giving up on it before a 4th year especially after the Tyndall fiasco in basketball.
