'15 TN TE Kyle Oliver (UT Signee 2/4/15)

Exactly. Vol fans find their fandom in all sorts of ways. That's why I like seeing guys like Maggitt come in to UT and become one of the biggest influences of positivity about the program on the team, even when he was hurt. I'm guessing he wasn't bleeding orange all his life but idk, could be wrong

Would deff agree that the amount you currently care is much more important than the length of time you you've been a fan. I know a guy who grew up a Tennessee fan, went to MTSU, married a Bama fan and is now a Bama fan himself. Does he bleed more orange than me because he was a Tennessee fan when he was 10 and I wasn't. Hell no!

Married a bama fan and became one himself? Shoot me now. Gross.

That dude was never a Tennessee fan. Sucka** traitor. I was married to a UGA girl for 12 years, and now 15 years to my angel who's only drawback is she's a Awbarn fan. I have lived in other SEC states for more than 80% of my life. Nothing...can change the color of my blood...pure Orange.

Not every kid is gonna grow up bleeding orange and not every kid that does is good enough to play at UT on or off scholarship. I get what you're saying but we're at a pretty high level now and some have grown to bleed orange (Dobbs, Maggitt, etc.). I don't think being a fan should effect evaluations of players.

I understand....I know that UT has to recruit from all over the country and I think it's awesome that these kids discover their orange blood. My fandom has no effect on the coach's player evaluations and I don't even know why that is even being brought up.

No doubt, you always want players that bleed orange on the team. We just need some more high caliber players that bleed orange.
"We need more"

This is insinuating we don't have enough, or there are more to obtain that we did not that were "high caliber players".

It seems pretty straightforward. If I said I need more money, it is implying I don't currently have a satisfactory amount of money and/or there is more money for me to obtain.

It's a negative sentence to me. We needed more of those kids under Dooley, hell even Butch's first year. Now I think we are recruiting about as high of a level as we can, and we are getting kids that "bleed orange" idk what there is to complain about.

I rarely complain about anything on this board. I like to cut up and have fun just like anyone else. I make a statement about bleeding orange and now my fandom comes into question regarding player evals and I'm complaining. People over analyze things way to much my friend. I don't see anything wrong with what I said but if you looked at what I said negatively, I'm sorry you took it that way.

1orange you're cool in my book. Its a shame you had to defend yourself.

Yeah so they can be like Tee...oh wait.

In Tee's defense he wasn't treated the best when the allegations about him taking money while he was at UT came up. Fulmer didn't allow him to come around during the investigation, which was wring on Fulmer part. And of course later he gets cleared of everything. At the time he admitted it really bothered him but didn't know if things ever got good again or if he still held a grudge.

No doubt, being from Illinois and then choosing to go to college at Tennessee, I can relate to those who don't get their orange blood until they turn 17 or 18.

Transfusions are equal to natural born, in my book. As long as it doesn't change colors when we suck.

Not really tho

I'm seeing a Senior Alex Ellis and Wolf brothers., one of whom is proven. Then an injured Brooks, and incoming frosh Pope who I think will be a star. So one proven TE after next year. I'm. Not panicking, just rhetorical and obvious statement.
