Not every kid is gonna grow up bleeding orange and not every kid that does is good enough to play at UT on or off scholarship. I get what you're saying but we're at a pretty high level now and some have grown to bleed orange (Dobbs, Maggitt, etc.). I don't think being a fan should effect evaluations of players.Didn't need an example I know we have them on the team.....just said we need more.

Exactly. Vol fans find their fandom in all sorts of ways. That's why I like seeing guys like Maggitt come in to UT and become one of the biggest influences of positivity about the program on the team, even when he was hurt. I'm guessing he wasn't bleeding orange all his life but idk, could be wrongNo doubt, being from Illinois and then choosing to go to college at Tennessee, I can relate to those who don't get their orange blood until they turn 17 or 18.
