Anyone else wish that Trey Gowdy had run? I mean even if he didn't win he would've made some interesting speeches.

He's this years hack GOP attack dog. Like those before him -McCollum, Issa -- he'll be shown a quiet exit once he's served his purpose.

It's not hard to be an attack dog when there are so many easy targets. If you serve them up on a platter then a former federal prosecutor like Gowdy is going to devour them.

Meh, so far he's just been a partisan hack. I did enjoy when he kicked Issa out of his committee meeting, however. I guess GOP polling had shown it had gotten to the point where he had no credibility with anyone, and they don't want his hands on these issues, anymore. Same thing will happen to Gowdy, eventually. It's the cycle of life.

How about Huckabee's comment the Obama is leading Israel "to the ovens."

That's probably the single most obnoxious comment I've ever read, from a POTUS contender.

It's shameless hyperbole to be sure. But Obama has been pretty negative towards Israel throughout his presidency. In fact he's been pretty poor with all the USA's traditional Western allies. He is far too concentrated on East Asia and large power blocks and forgetting that traditional links between specific nations are integral to an effective foreign policy strategy. The English speaking nations specifically haven't taken to him that much.

Hard to see how legitimately questioning the IRS, the Benghazi situation, sanctuary cities and Hillary's e-mails makes him a hack. Partisan maybe, but I wouldn't say that was being a hack. I mean someone had to question those things and it certainly interested me.

Gowdy is a legitimate threat, therefore he WILL be trashed by the Dem hacks like LG.

Yeah because Barry has done such a good job at being nice to one of our biggest allies.

LG it's really sad that you continue to defend that dolt Soetoro. Why do you defend him so much? Is it just because he is our first black, Muslim president?

How does it compare to Biden's "they want to put y'all back in chains" to an AA audience - he was sitting VP at the time ya know.

Anyone think the next POTUS is someone not yet in the race? Hillary is tanking and Trump is upsetting the GOP rodeo. Someone might step in and pick up the pieces.

I think (hope) the Trump train explodes much like Perry in 2011 and those votes pass to Paul or the Gov from Ohio (weird name to spell). I think it's too late for anyone to get in at this point to win.

Hillary spent a great deal of her political power in 2008.

Supreme Court Hears Anti-Hillary-Clinton Film Case - ABC News

The Supreme Court, in a rare September session, met on Wednesday to hear new arguments in a case that could be key to the way elections are run and bankrolled in the future.

At issue was "Hillary: The Movie" a 2008 film critical of then-presidential-candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. It was made by a nonprofit conservative group and targeted for distribution during the last presidential primary through a "video on demand" service.

But the Federal Election Commission stepped in and banned its distribution, ruling that the movie was the equivalent of a campaign ad attacking a candidate. Because the film was made partly with corporate contributions, the commission ruled it was "electioneering communications" -- subject to restrictions under campaign finance law.

He's just a smarter crook..

There was actually a deal in place.
She support him in 2008, he would do it for her in 2016.

Problem is, he has backed out of the deal. Bill is pissed.

Hillary is in a pickle. She has to choose to either to stand with obamas policy's or against them. One makes her look as if she supports his failures, the other shows she admits he's a failure. Either way, the Democratic Party will be seen as a joke.

Hillary got screwed on her end of the deal.

You actually believe this. You actually believe that a candidate gave up their shot at the presidency to become Secretary of State for the president's support 8 yrs later? Think about that for a sec. Nvm. Nvm.

Not willingly, Obama has a knack for eliminating his opponents. You should see how he got elected to the senate, he hired attorneys and merely had his opponents disqualified.. He's not call the long Legged mac daddy for nothing.

Trump will implode when his past positions are exposed.

Paul unlikely.

Kasich is the dark horse with best chance.

Heard talk today that folks like Romney, Gore, Biden and others are still not officially off the board.

If Kasich makes the top 10 in time for the first debate he may gain traction.

Clinton is becoming a flawed candidate and the party is probably scrambling for a Plan B

No, and don't cop out of what you believe so easily. If that's what you believe so be it, I guess it's not as outlandish as some conspiracy theories I have heard. Yet one of the primary complaints you and your kind have against the Clinton's is that they are power hungry. So how does it make any sense that she would take this gamble for a win later? It doesn't and it's revisionist history in the extreme. Obama beat her because of David Axelrod, period, not because of some stupid shady deal that never happened. Good lord.

Go easy on him. His queens reputation is in jeopardy.
Besides, we all know politicians don't make back room deals

If Romney runs I would fully support and vote for him unlike 2012.

Gamble to take the win later?

Better than not winning at all.

You don't have any freaking clue about the clintons. Nothing.
