The email thing is hurting her, I agree. That was just dumb on her part.

At some point the Clinton strategy of denial and parsing will back fire.

Her doubling down on saying she didn't "knowingly" send classified emails is a trap she's set for herself.

Looks like the classified emails originated with her (at least some of the 4 of the sample of 40).

If she sticks with the "knowingly" then she destroys her credibility that she was the one who decided what was work related and what wasnt.

Recap:

I did it because I only wanted one device (false - she used more than one).

Old friends send me stuff but I don't ask for it (false - Blumenthal emails show her asking him for reports)

I turned over all work emails (false - Blumenthal emails were not turned over yet were clearly work related)

I didn't send or receive classified information (false, classified emails were found in the small sample that was investigated).

At this point it would be easier to track what she told the truth about.

What the email thing really does is allow all shots people throw at her to be credible.

"She hid her emails so what could she be hiding about Benghazi?"

"She hid her emails so what is she hiding about donors?"

"She hid her emails so what is she hiding in her pants?"

Didn't Bill and Hillary have Sandy Berger steal something from the Archives Bldg and it was found in his pants?

The Benghazi thing is just so tired at this point. Its been milked for all its worth. and the problem, for the GOP is that it is too specific. There are too many officials, including Republicans, on record saying its a bogus scandal. So when criticized, she has a lot of things to point to.

Just saying she had a private email server when others didn't, and to ask the rhetorical question, what's she hiding, when there really isn't a logical reason to suspect any specific thing as being a problem, creates an atmosphere of distrust, and that is much harder for her to defend because it is non-specific.

GOP is better off just raising lots of vague questions, imo.

documents about pre 9/11 activities - he put them in his socks IIRC

It's non-stop with the Clintons. Why anyone would support them I have no clue.

That D or R means a lot regardless.

It means way too much.

It is sad how so many people are brainwashed by a D or R beside someone's name.

If someone as far left as Dennis Kucinich stuck a R beside his name and ran for US Congress in my district, the 1st Congressional District of Tennessee, he would win by a landslide.

Well he sealed the deal on this incredible Iran negotiation right? That's all we need to know.

No, I want a real discussion on this. If you're going to throw stones, at least be able to back it up.

In your opinion, does any singular GOP candidate have more solid foreign policy experience than John Kerry?

If Al Gore decides to run, he locks up the Dem nomination. I don't think he will, though.

I laughed out loud.

Actually, it was more of a derisive snort, but you get the idea.

Gore doesn't want the press digging too deeply into how he became a millionaire via a bogus carbon trading scheme.

Not that I know of but Kerry has zero executive experience and that's something a candidate for POTUS needs to gain my support. Without executive experience they have an uphill climb.

Also I wouldn't call Kerry's FP experience solid.

To your first point: who do you think is better suited for the job, given your rule on executive experience? I'm not saying you're right or wrong, just interested in the discussion.

To your second point: sure, that's subjective and debatable, though. The answer is probably that it's a mixed-bag. Some good things, some bad. But, more experience than any GOP candidate is a fact.

Compared to Kerry? Well we both know almost anyone is more qualified. But back on point.

Bobby Jindal, John Kasich, Scott Walker and Jeb are all more qualified to be POTUS than Kerry or Hillary for that matter. And please do not interpret my list as an order of support, I have not decided who I'll support but more than likely one of the above. Paul has some work to do but he's a dark horse.

I don't care about FP experience when it comes to a Chief Executive, I care about someone with the experience to hire the right people and possesses sound decision making skills.

I'd be willing to take a damn chimp on foreign policy experience over Kerry and I'm completely serious.

What has Kerry done, other than bend over and let the Mullahs in Iran abuse him like a 19 year old fat kid in prison?

"U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has been the least effective person to hold that post in the past 50 years, according to results of Foreign Policy’s Ivory Tower survey, a poll of 660 U.S. international relations scholars released Thursday. Only two said Kerry was the most effective secretary of state."
