Go get that dump truck full of money that Clay Travis writes about, drive to Auburn and bring back the fans' choice. In the mean time I'd like to see Hart release Tyndall (not my heart's desire but seems inevitable at this point), then Cheek sack Hart, then DiPietro sack Cheek in back to back to back press conferences. BEST THURSDAY EVER!!

IIRC, it's top-100 public university aspirations. We're now up to 106, and I want to say we were in the 120s when they started it. I can't find backlogged rankings, so I can't confirm for sure.

Purely speculation, but my guess is that Pearl wasn't totally honest with his own administration. That would piss people off.

I loved Pearl, but that would be like firing an employee for being dishonest about something or maybe even stealing and then being asked to hire them back. Doesn't happen much.

The way I look at it is Pearl lied for us. It looks like Tyndall lied/failed to disclose facts to use us as a golden parachute and stay one step ahead of career ending disgrace at USM when he'd already been busted at a prior gig. Other than money, I cannot fathom why in the heck any right thinking person who supports the Vols would say no to Pearl and yes to Tyndall. No to both I can understand as a principled stand but not DT over BP.

Here we go...

Man, Bruce and Butch together would be an unstoppable force. They are both dynamic salesmen in their respective sports. Like many dreams however, I think this one will be too good to be true. It's sad because literally everyone who supports UT Men's Basketball would welcome back CBP in a heartbeat.

Time for Dave Hart to go off in search of the magical budget hire.

Can I say yes to both?

Two good basketball coaches. I don't understand how this had happened at UT twice yet there are numerous employed coaches out there who have done just as bad or worse. This system is seriously flawed.

There are several people at UT and several boosters that would have to no longer be involved at UT before Bruce would be brought back. Never going to happen and is why he took Auburn job. He burned too many bridges
