It's all about funding. The bigger the "threat" the more union members the gestapo gets, the more range time Tim gets to practice murdering people, etc.Why is there always a perceived danger in doing nothing? Is this simply the fear tactics used by those in power to justify the rising prison population? Or, is it just the gravy train of revenue rolling along? Meanwhile, the taxpayer suffers and pays for it all.
Shocking video out of Florida shows police tasering an elderly man despite the fact that his hands are up and he appears to be offering no resistance.

Why did they taser him? I didn't see him do anything wrong. These cowards need to be reminded who they work for, who they serve.

You didnt see him pulling away from the initial officer? What was the initial traffic stop for? What took him so long to get out of the car? Your eyes see what you want them to see.

Dude... He exits the vehicle with his hands up and though he does appear to pull away (FTR I'm not at all convinced that was an attempt to resist, as that makes no sense when one considers his behavior throughout the rest of the video), he immediately stops and puts his hands back up right before the hero in the yellow vest shoots him in the back with a taser.
Quick question... Let's say you're on the job and you're ruining some 20 year old kid's life over a quarter ounce of pot, writing a single mom a $120 ticket for exceeding some arbitrary speed limit, or whatever it is you do to keep your community safe and you witness me shooting an unarmed elderly gentleman in the back with a taser while his hands are in the air. Is your instinct to to stop and think "Let's not jump to conclusions here... I'm not sure what lead us to this point and he may very well have been justified"?
My guess is no. Yet you and all the other cop sluppers can't wait to give any dingleberry with a badge the benefit of the doubt that there's basically zero percent chance you'd give to Joe citizen. I just find that odd.
You're right though... I mean it did take him a second to exit the car. And though any idiot with an iq above 55 could see he was surrendering, he did kind of pull away for an entire second or two. The old jerk should really be grateful he only got the taser and not the 9mm right?
