Jurdens. Yea. 5 min from my house. I went there yesterday.
Maybe it is Jordan's, we talk kinda funny round here

LOL, that's the test, spelled Jordan's, pronounced Jurden's. Liquor store in the middle of corn and soybean fields, all that matters. Have a ton of crazy stories from my time there. Good times.

Times Free Press had an article about NSD, quoted JC Shurbutt pretty extensively, exploring the idea of media feeding this recruiting madness.

I didn't think the article was award winning or anything but found the concept interesting.

Using Iman Marshall as an example, Shurbutt basically said that he really wasn't considering 6 teams even though there was a recent bleacher report article recently saying he was. He said that there is this idea out there that these kids deserve their moment in the spotlight but that he thinks fans will quickly get tired of it. The media often knows the real story but selectively reports.

Wondering if anybody here has thoughts about whether the media ought to report what they know or let the kids lead everyone on.

Media should report if they feel there is a song and dance, but let the kid have his moment.

Hubbs does this well

Here is my way to early predictions:

I bet you drove right by my house on your way there. Or atleast once you left and popped a top on the back road.

Not to change the subject but I am ready to hear Coach Debord's press conference. I know it will be mostly "coach speak" but I am still interested to hear what is philosophy will be.

I'd like to hear him say we're going to run Ohio State's offense at an Oregon pace and with Tennessee swagger.

My gut says 9-3. But no way to know for sure until I see what DeBord does in calling games. I think he will be a huge help on the blocking schemes, which will help the run game. If they can keep Dobbs healthy it should be a fun season.

48 seconds into the DeBordfense and you will be chanting, "undefeated".

Tennessee has offered 2017 WR Princeton Fant of La Vergne (Tenn.) High School and 2018 athlete Justin Oden of Spring Hill High School in Columbia, Tenn.
Fant and Oden both had good days today at the TN GrindTime 7-on-7 tryouts in Franklin, Tenn.

Ok, I think we need a commitment. 247 has had the same latest commitments showing for 2 days now. I'm getting sick of looking at em. No UT on the front page. We need a commitment, a crystal ball, a coaching change, something. LOL

For those that care.

"Brent has progressed very well this weekend, and his wife has given me several good reports on the procedure and recovery. It's been an extremely encouraging weekend in that regard."

-John Brice

Also Montario Hardesty and Anthony Parker are accepting coaching positions at Norfolk State.

Good news

Accidentally posted this in the OT thread but meant to post here.

I heard this week, from Azzanni on the radio I think, that the coaches talked to 120 '16 prospects on Signing Day. Butch personally spoke to at least 100 of them.

Crazy day.
