Pig is gonna kill it next year.

I'm trying to temper my expectations for next year. But, man our offense and defense are gonna be something serious in the Fall. UT about to give teams the business.

Dobbs is the glue to the offense. I think he really breaks out. Hurd and AK are the best duo in the SEC other than Arky's RBs. Best and deepest WR unit in the nation. Ethan Wolf will keep progressing. Neiko Creamer has been surging at the TE spot. Alex Ellis is a capable body.

The OL will only improve. We are not just bringing in bodies to hold depth. We are bringing in guys that will push our current OL. The competition on the OL should be fun to watch leading into the Fall.

Defensively, I feel like we have a All-SEC defender at each level. Barnett on the DL, JRM at LB, and Cam in the secondary. We return a pretty strong secondary. I'm really high on Rashaan Gaulden in the nickel.

In 2013, Cam was our breakout defender. In 2014, JRM and Barnett got that award. In 2015, my pick is Gaulden. I'd like to see Cortez McDowell's role grow too. I think he's earned it. Chris Weatherd is another guy that I think makes some noise next season.

And add all the guys we are bringing in. Gotta believe McKenzie and Martin battle for PT immediately. Jack Jones and Tuttle as EEs are huge. I'm curious to see where Bates falls in the shuffle. I think he may get some looks at Mike.

Setting the bar high. 9-3

If Maggitt plays the way he did the last 8-9 games, he will be in the mix for all-SEC too. He finished strong.

He supposedly is but I think Debord has more involvement with QBs in past than we think just by looking at a resume title. An OC is obviously heavily involved with QB. I have seen mention that Loeflerr credits Debord for grooming him into a QB coach. Brady, Griese seem to think he is good with QBs and they should know. Sheridan should know what Debord wants. He played for him.

There are two aspects of qb coaching. The mental side is the one all OCs work on, but the technique/physical side is where you need a QB coach who has experience.

Kind of like Brees and Brady credit their college OCs for their development, but neither had their OC as a QB coach teaching them footwork, accuracy, etc... That's where I'm worried about not having a QB coach.

So Debord is the OC and QB coach? I didn't think he had any experience as a QB coach. Not jumping for joy with this hire but I will just trust CBJ made the right hire until the product on the field show otherwise.

The fact that Maggitt had 11 sacks is crazy. Barnett gets all the hype on defense, but Maggitt is going to be an absolute beast next year.

Interesting tidbit from Rob Lewis about the SEC getting involved in Richmond's recruitment down the stretch to make sure things were on the up and up.

I'd love to know the details behind that.

Well that sucks! Hopefully we didn't do anything wrong.

Oh boy Kevol!

I'm talking DEs. I do think KMack will immediately play and have an impact though.

Phillips is going to be nasty as well. Hopefully he'll get up to speed despite missing spring practice.

Just need Butcher or Taylor to really step it up. If we can rotate 4 DEs with limited drop off, our pass rush will be unstoppable.

I think Taylor backs up Weatherd.

Vereen Phillips will be good backups I think.

That video is awesome. But they forgot one of the best plays of the year.

I noticed that omission as well. Also, though I don't guess I can blame them, I lamented that there were no highlights for AJ.

Azzani promoted to passing game coordinator. :)

EDIT: Dammmmm me for not hitting refresh before posting.
