Agreed, Spurrier does it all the time. Also Stoops at Kentucky. Lord, I thought they were going to wildcat that poor kid to death against south carolina.

Local news reported last night that KPD had finished with their investigation and it was turned over to the DA. They said he could do three things, close the case with no charges, file charges, or turn it over to the Grand Jury.

As I understand it the DA will look at all the charges and evidence on each person and decide what needs to be done with each. I'm fairly sure they would have to be separate cases. If evidence and testimony clears one of the people no charges would be placed on that person. If it doesn't clear a person, that one would be charged. If it is clear that either one is not guilty the DA would have no reason to send that case to a Grand Jury and that person would have to be cleared.
That's how I understand it would work but I'm not an attorney or judge (thank goodness).

Not that it matters at all but did Riley Ferguson end up anywhere or did he completely flame out of college all together.

They can and sometimes do send hot potato cases like this to the Grand Jury when they are not going to charge someone. They let the Grand Jury take any political heat that might come down when the "no bill" is announced.

FWIW, AJ was in a picture that Vol Football posted on Instagram. It had him and all the other graduates in it. It's the first time since the suspension that we've heard anything about him being included with the other team members.

That, and Utsports posting the pic of all the defense holding up 4-5 in the locker room, they must be pretty confident of the outcome.

I sure hope he gets a chance at redemption in the bowl game.

Hypothetical. If AJ has not been practicing and is not in "FOOTBALL" shape why risk injury for one game. Get agent and set sights on the draft

Interesting to see Nathan Peterman is graduating today. I believe That means that he could transfer with immediate eligibility to a D1 school if he chose to do so. He is in the pics going around of today's graduates.

I'm not saying I know the inside to the whole thing but, all the stories I've heard suggest Williams isn't gonna be doing so well in this case.

So is their two separate cases or if they decide not enough information to go forward would that clear both or not? Guess we will find out soon eventually but thanks for the input colvol. Go vols!
