You've done it now. This is the moment that marks the collapse of VN. Somewhere, some poor cat just got kicked. A wall just got a hole punched through it. A TV just got pushed over. So much weeping and gnashing of teeth...

It's going to be chaos in here. And all because of colors: no blue font and too much red.

If teams must be strong in the West Division, I prefer those teams to be Auburn and LSU. Permanent opponents of UGA and FL, and less likely to step on our recruiting toes.

I am not sure I agree. Look, I would wear Russell Athletic or Champion if it had a UT logo on it. I like both Nike and Adidas for different things. But I have a traditional logo Adidas hat, and I like that Adidas went back to their traditional logo on some things. Everyone likes different stuff though.

I see what you're saying- but I'd like to see us bring back some of our traditional stuff- even if the coon hat thing is a little hokie- I want one.

What you did there, I seen it. :)

In all seriousness, it bothers me for two reasons 1. UT orange makes us unique. Clemson of late has inched closer and closer to our orange but nothing compares to it. And it's a huge part of our university lore, identity, as well as our brand, Most can recognize it instantly because it's so unique. 2. I'm better at identifying colors than most - just the way I see things. Some people are freaky good at math. I'm freaky good at recalling paintings/drawing etc. (including the colors used to a very accurate degree) as well as team colors. Sol i see differences most don't notice. (*sigh* If only I'd figured out a way to use that or my freak ability w/song lyrics to make money I might be rich but I digress...).

While I do understand the poking fun/saying we're chicken little attitude some of you have and don't really blame you for that. I'd rather be safe than sorry, I've seen too many abominations by Nike and many, many others to trust ANY uni company. And I REALLY don't want to see what happened to Arky, happen to us.
