What tax laws, and business regulations would u change? I agree the war on drugs is a giant failure but Im not sure legalizing all of it wont make society much worse.
Give an example of a better govt system..... I ask these kind of questions on this board a lot and no one ever states a better way of doing things. They always list what their perception of what is wrong with the current system.
If a government has to grant itself power to steal money from people just to pay the bills, then it is too big. I'm not proposing a whole new system. I would like to see a government that is so small, it could be funded by volunteer tax payers. Take away 80% of the crap our government has granted itself lordship of, and you've got a perfectly good system that is capable of protecting liberty.
Of course.....there won't be an army or help for our elderly, sick, and disabled.
Elderly, sick and disabled would be just fine in private systems. Military would be funded. There would be enough contributors that believed in national security. But you would be more than welcome not to contribute if you don't think it is a worthy use of your money.
How would the elderly and others be taken care of in private systems? I think u think too highly of ur fellow Americans.....how would other federally funded programs get funding?
I sincerely doubt you've visited many countries that have as many tax laws, business regulations, and drug war victims as we do. But hey, as long as we all get to strap on our Monsanto feed bags and veg out watching our giant flat screen televisions, we're all good.
I agree 100% with that part and with too many regulations but I don't exactly consider that tyranny.
About regulations....I don't know what else you call a government that denies people potentially life-saving drugs because they are not approved. That's tyrannical, if you ask me.
Also, regulations are the least of our worries when it comes to our budget. You gotta take a chainsaw to the military budget, entitlements, welfare, subsidies, etc.
That's fine, but they don't need to ban anything in order to test and approve drugs.
It's banned until it meets all standards....it seems like it takes too long but I have no idea bc I am not a part of the testing process.... Let some pharmaceutical company rush production of a drug with claims that it can cure this and that but instead the patient dies from it.....Watch how quick that goes to litigation.
It takes an average of 10 years. So if a drug can save 100 lives per year, the government killed 1,000 people because they don't allow them the choice to take it.
Allow people to use experimental drugs if they want. After all, they are the ones that assume the risk. Cautious people like yourself can wait until it gets approval. Win/win.

I know some of this sounds good in theory but I have severe doubts in practice.....my dad went to Russia on a mission trip to help redo a hospital. It had light bulbs hanging down from exposed wires and was pretty much trashed. Due to their socialistic system, my dad couldn't beg the people there to come and help. If you don't make people pay some form of taxes then they won't do it on their own free will and most of the things we enjoy will go away.
