As many on here know. I am 50 yrs old and have kids 27 and 24, from my 1st wife (who passed away) , and a 3 year old with my second wife. We found out late last week we have another one due in August.

Congrats to you as well. Exciting times!

None of our EEs are due to arrive on campus until early January so none will be participants in bowl practices.

Butch deserves middle of the pack SEC money. That's where we are now, about 4 or 5 in the east. This work he's putting in on the recruiting trail will pay off in the next couple of years. About 3.25 is where he should be. I don't think he's going anywhere. It's like a farmer that plants a field and sells out before the crops are in and has to go plant another field.

I would be in favor of adding or increasing escalator clauses, with triggers being performance-based; i.e., increased bonuses for Top 5 or Top 10 recruiting classes, winning a bowl game, meeting specific team goals, etc. We could get CBJ to $3.4M or $3.5M with escalators, which would be a win-win.

We're still paying off DooleyCo for two more years. Next year, we'll be in a better position to offer meaningful raises-- for more tangible results.
