I don't know. I know I've smoked. Haven't for awhile just for a break. But will again. Didn't as a teen. I also do ok in the business world and am ok with my IQ and decision making.
The adults I know that smoke are entrepreneurs, thinkers, songwriters (@ 1 million of those around Nashville it seems). Most have been happily married for a good while and have well behaved children. In my golf group, which is 14 of us, almost all enjoy it from time to time, and I'd put up their collective IQ's and business acumen over any nonsmoker I've met because they are openminded and have accessed part of the brain that non smoking adults haven't or can't get to.
I guess maybe at times, some folks would rather be chilling out on the superwhite hwy checking out other parts of the mind , rather being closeminded and stuck in the gray area. Those same nonsmokers insisted for years that people only use 10% of their brains, when in reality, only using 10% of one's brain means you are dead.
Some just are able to maximize certain facets of the brain, while others have areas that lay dormant.
This stuff is just really amusing to me, hearing various perspectives, reading about a brain in a mouse who used his little hands to smoke a tiny rat joint, terrible daily decision making by stone cold sober people that would make a high person blush, etc, etc.
