Ok you guys, you can stop with all the speculation. I have it from a "reliable" source (a guy who once pooped in the stall next to Drew's uncle's college roomate at the Outback Steakhouse in Walls, MS) says Drew won't be coming to UT.

Sorry to break the bad news. SIAP TIFWIW.

There are no bathroom stalls in Walls, MS.

Walls has an Outback?

I remember Sun Devil stadium about to cave in when Peerless caught that go route in full stride. I literally paused to think about the structural integrity of an old stadium about to collapse under my feet during that play.

Same here...one of my fondest memories. That place went insane.

There is no way freakin way Stoerner's fumble was worth this much cosmic payback.

Yes, yes it was...how many NC games has UT won in in your lifetime? Mine: once in 1998.

I think between dooley and kiffin, we are all paid up and it is time to turn the corner.

:salute:

That is not really what I meant...For me yeah it is worth it..hell yeah. I am just saying whatever debt we owed the cosmos for that fumble was paid off, a long time ago. I don't really believe in "luck", but is amazing how everything that can possibly go wrong for us the last decade or so...has went wrong. It is weird.

Wonder if this thing will change when Freeze leaves.

Freeze is at his dream job. He grew up in Oxford and has been a diehard Rebel fan all his life. When he was HC at Briercrest in Memphis he was one of the Rebel's biggest recruiters (see Michael Oher). Freeze won't leave Ole Miss short of being run out of town.

Money talks.

Pretty much. I think some think that being a "fan" of a program makes a difference. It's a career, if Freeze thinks he and his family are better off financially in another situation I could see him moving on. I just can't see Ole Miss being a routine fixture at the top of the west. I think the next few years are as good as it gets for them.

My guess, though... if the NFL came calling, he might want to try it. Many highly successful people can't be happy sitting still when they think that they can climb. The challenge of NFL might be too appealing.
