Yes, we have a bag man. Every SEC school does. It's not to hard to figure out who ours is. Been the same guy for years.

The whole article was about how nobody is supposed to know who the bag man is. I'm sure Adams is in some ways responsible for our Memphis "pipeline" but he seems to like attention too much for anybody to involve him in the stuff described in the article.

I'll be honest I don't see anybody building them/him up.

The last few pages there have been plenty of posts calling freeze an idiot for his decision making Saturday night & people talking about how ole miss is a dirty program.

It's also how lame duck coaching staffs are created. If a majority of bag men want a particular coach out and an A.D. or president won't make a move, they'll just dry up funds.

Caller on Swain's show this morning alluded to Ryan Newsome saying that Drew Richmond was trying to get him to commit to Ole Miss during their visit here last weekend. TIFWIW

Caller on Swain's show said DR was trying to recruit guys to OM while on the sidelines at the game Saturday... while he was visiting on his own dime and wearing a UT track suit.

Sounds to me like he ain't trolling for twitter followers, he's trolling to see what kind of "benefits" he can get from UT compared to what OM is offering. Only way any of this makes sense.

This whole Richmond situation seems to get more and more like a waste of time. It's looking like Freeze is using Richmond to recruit targets at UT games. No wonder he has been coming to Knoxville so much. I would bet that OM is paying his way on these unofficial visits. It's time to move on to Sweet, McGirt, Burrell, or even Prince. Just hope it's not too late. He is really using CBJ at this point.

I feel like people that actually are insiders in recruitments probably aren't calling into knoxville talk shows... The average IQ of the guys that call into those shows is astoundingly low.

You are correct Chuckie, the caller wasn't your typical “I have a buddy type of caller”. He seemed very calm, analytical and knowledgeable about the situation.

Also, if you noticed, Swain didn't sound surprised or defend the notion (sounded like he wanted to share some info but thought better of it). He said, yea, it certainly wouldn't be the first time a recruit has done this.

My guess is if it happened, then Butch knows about it and will take it under consideration on how to move forward with Richmond.

If Richmond is trolling and only showing up to recruit for Ole Miss I'll be pi$$ed. That sort of thing would make it back to Butch Jones and I highly doubt that he would put up with that sort of thing moving forward. Also that really goes against everything that Richmond is said as far as how he feels about UT.

I think he keeps talking about national signing day to keep everybody off of his back here and back home. Who knows what this guy will do in the end, but if his mom is sold on Ole Miss and it being so close to home it's probably going to be a really tough pull.

And if it comes out that he truly was on the sidelines recruiting for Ole Miss I hope Butch Jones yanks his scholarship offer so fast that his damned eyebrows fall off.
