Just heard on the Radio that Josh Dobbs got extensive work with the 1st team today. Wonder what CBJ has up his sleeve....hmmmmmmm
Now try answering my question. The excuses and deflections are endless.
Why do you judge a four-star QB so harshly with less than 3 quarters total playing time playing Floriduh with a broken finger?
Why should your superficial impressions of a few minutes play be elevated above the expert talent scouts and coaches - who saw a large body of work?
How do you know Peterman panics?
Do you really believe inexperienced players having nerves to be abnormal?
I asked if they wanted to know and even gave a hint how it went. Now I'm not telling them a dang thing. They can figure it out by themselves.
In my opinion, THIS is flawed logic. I do agree that our O-line is atrocious, but to say our season is blown? That just doesn't make sense to me. Our goal this year was not a NC or even an SEC title, it was to get to 6-6 and a bowl game. We need to show some promise and that we are progressing to our fans, our recruits, and to the rest of college football to show we are becoming legitimate again. For us to take a "pack it up and go home" approach is very disheartening. I am NOT a Cubs fan, I don't hang my hat on next season. We are still very much alive THIS season and whatever moves we can make to get us bowling need to be made.
You guys still at it? Good Lord, you do know that Worley is practicing and by all indications (that I have read ie. vols247 etc) is going to play on Saturday?
DoneDo you really think that the QB position is the problem???
The O line give about 1.5 seconds of protection on passing plays, there is no QB that can stand in that pocket while a WR's route progress's.
Secondly, we have zero running game, the Ole Miss game we were held to ZERO yards rushing. The problem is not the QB.... it's not the RB.... it's the O - Line, just understand Dobb's is not going to play, save him for next year with a much better O-line. Caulk this season up as a learning curve for those that will be here to build with next years class and hope for the best next year.....
Nope. Nate is a great kid. But he panicked against UGA this year too. When things start going bad... he loses it. No hate... just a simple, direct observation of what has happened both times he's been in a competitive, real game situation.
Source? Those with apparent ties into the program at the time suggested that Worley won the position by a wide margin. Reporters who were told they could not report on the competition as it was going on suggested the same thing after the announcement (Hubbs for one).
And NONE of what you said changes the fact that in two appearances in real action... NP has panicked under pressure.
None of us made it up. It has come from people close to the program that they want to RS Dobbs. Maybe Jones told you different when he came to your house for dinner last night... but somehow I doubt it.
